September 2013 I wanted 2 cell phones at Cricket Wirless. I was told the secondary loan company will allow to purchase 2 cell phones one a Samsung S4 and Samsung Admire. I had 90 days to pay and here is the phone number. I gave her the direct routing number to pay for the deposit.. She in turn used it for the loan company she never stated would be. As a result each month I was charged twice a month of 77.00. I never got a letter in the mail and I finally got a phone number I could call. As a result I was told not to call but to go by internet and set up my account.. I found it odd to not talk to NO ONE from Y Buy.

I tried 3 times to pay the full remaining balance I even "contact by email" as stated by the web site and no responses. I ended up in the end paying the amount over 2000.00 for two phones due to there high intrest. Learning experience I again emailed them to report my loan to the 3 credit agencies it took them 2 months to respond in email and said they do not do that.

I am very furious that I had to pay high intrest as well as no information no contact phone numbers and even the Cricket agents will not help me since they have as stated "nothing to do with Y Buy." but they sure can use them as a Loan approach at beginning of sale. So I lost a ton of money and it will not show for the credit agencies to help my credit.

YBuy finance of Cricket Phones is a scam! I purchased 3 I 5 phones for $749.97. We have been paying $65.57 2x’s a month since November and to date we have paid $788.84. I called today to find out why they were still debiting my account and was told that if I did not pay the loan off in 90 days they automatically moved my account into a 12 month account where I would pay 1.530.00 for the phones.

Naturally I had a fit when I was talking to the Ybuy manager but he told me it was in the contract I signed. I was not told about any of this by the Cricket rep. According to Ybuy I still owe $376.21 which will make me paying 1,163.05 for 3 phones that cost $749.97. If this is not a rip off then I don’t know what is. I have canceled the auto debit on my account for the upcoming $65.71 debits. I am furious with Cricket for leading me to such a deceitful company to finance my phones.

There should be a law agonist companies like this.

Ybuy ripoff!.... yeah why buy?

I PURCHASED A CHEEP LITTLE ZTE SOURCE FROM CRICKET IN FEBRUARY WITH THE AGREEMENT TO PAY THEM 8.75$ AS A BI WEEKLY PAYMENT. CRICKET TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE THE PHONE PAYED OFF IN JUNE. ITS NOW JULY AND THERE STILL CHARGING MY ACCOUNT THE 8.75$ NOT ONLY THAT BUT NOW THERE'S A NEW WEEKLY CHARGE OF 22.50(for what i do not know)...... if the phone was only 100$ how do they figure they haven't over charged me...... and not to mention all the 30 dollar overdraft fees from my bank due to the random 22.50 charges that I was unprepared and un aware i had to pay

In January I purchased two IPhones from the cricket store and financed them through YBuy, with the option to pay off the phones within 90 days. At first I did not notice until March that the debit card i used to set up the account with would not allow ACH withdrawals, so I ended up sending money orders. So in March I sent in a money order in the amount of $500 then I looked up my payoff amount in April, it was for $566.46. So I sent in that money order. Then in May I received another bill, I called and told them how I had already sent in the pay off amount so my account should be paid off in full. After getting the run around, they told me that I still owed $112. I told them when I purchased the phones I made two separate payments at the store when I purchased the phones. They tried to explain to me that one of those payments was most likely for my Cricket service plan. I explained tot them that it was not, because I always make those payments online and I paid that payment 2 days later. They told me that if I could send them proof of that payment they would close my account. I went into the Cricket store and they gave me a print out of those payments.

I sent them in and a few weeks later I receive a letter saying that they regretted to inform me that the payment was not received and I need to contact the merchant where I purchased the phone. I looked through all of my online bank statements and found that I had paid 3 separate payments to the Cricket store in Jan. So I called the number that I saw had been calling me, which ended up being their bill collection department. I asked to speak to the manager and h. Was really rude. He said that my payment. Was received on April 17, 2014, so I went over my 90 days. I explained to them that the bill says to allow for 7 days for payment to post to the account and that payment was posted on the 7th day. They tried to tell me that since I has went over that 90 days it went into financing and now I needed to pay the additional $1200 for my plan. I told them that the apparently I called the wrong department because the last guy told me if I could provide proof of that $112 payment, he would close my case. He said that he had nothing like that in his notes and that it did not matter. I told him that apparently I had called the wrong department, so I needed to call the financing department and talk to the manager who I was speaking with before, so I could speak with him about the agreement that he had made with me. The guy said he would put his note in the computer, so good luck with that. I tried to call the financing dept to speak with the original person that I was speaking with but they are already closed at 4:00 p.m. AZ time. So I will continue to try to reach this guy, to speak with him about providing them with more proof that I have of making that payment. As of now I have paid these people 1303.33. I will not pay them another dine except for maybe the $20 fee for that first ACH payment that was returned from my bank.
