I was looking for a loan on line and made out several applications. They called me and said I had been approved for a loan. They said that I had to pay to Moneygram to process the loan. They charged me $98.00.

After that they said I had to pay $272.00 for insurance on the loan because my credit was not that good. So I paid that through Moneygram also.

They said the money would be in my bank within four hours. It was never there. They scammed me. Now the telephone number they was calling me from no longer works.

This company is a total scam they said i was aproved for $2000. With a ten percent interest rate so id pay back $220 monthly for ten months. But had to put $220 on a vanilla reload pak before they could transfer the funds. They called back saying my reload pak and $ was stuck in a porthole so if i wanted it i must use western union and pay them another $120 so they could wire it to me witch they never did and i couldnt reach them fir 3-1/2 hrs and when they did answer patrick clapper had already gone home and the person speaking with me said he needed another $175 to run my credit check witch had already been done. He got annoyed that i wanted answers and hung up on me.

I FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT FOR BELIEVING THEY WOULD HELP ME. AM A SINGLE MOM OF 2KIDS, AND THAT $245.00 IS LIKE A MILLION DOLLARS IN MY HOME. I AM IN DEBT FOR SOMETHING THAT IS USELESS. IMMEDIATELY AFTER GIVING THESE PEOPLE THE GREEN DOT CARD NUMBER, I RELIAZED IT WAS A MISTAKE. RIGHT AS MARK TOOK THE CARD#, THE LINE DROPPED, AND HE CLAIMED MY APPLICATION WAS LOADING AND IT WOULD TAKE A FEW MINUTES. THEN I CALLED BACK AND I WAS TOLD THAT WE WOULD CONNECT WITH MY BANK FOR A CONFIRMATION OF MY ACCOUNT. WELL THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I EVER SPOKE WITH MARK. I LATER RECEIVED A CALL FROM A MIKE MILLER(FAKE NAME), AND HE SAID MY BANK DENIED THE TRANSFERS. WAIT A MIN.... MARK TOLD ME, WE WOULD HAVE TO SPEAK TO THE BANK FIRST BEFORE HE WOULD BE ABLE TO TRANSFER THE MONEY, THAT CONVERSATION NEVER HAPPENED. SO I BEGGED FOR THE MONEY BACK, AND I WAS TOLD IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE MONEY, I NEED TO PAY A $50FEE FOR CANCELING MY APPLICATION IN THE LAST PROCESS? WHAT? DO THEY REALLY BELIEVE I WOULD SEND MORE MONEY AFTER THEY JUST STOLE MY MONEY? AM IN TEARS, BECAUSE MY UTILITIES ARE ABOUT TO SHUT OFF, AND I WAS TRYING TO GET ME AND MY KIDS OUT OF A BAD SITUATION, AND NOW NOT ONLY DO I OWE THE UTILITY COMPANY, BUT THE PERSON THAT LOANED ME THE MONEY. I AM DESPERATE! SHOULD I GO TO THE POLICE? CAN THEY DO ANYTHING TO HELP ME? I FEEL I WOULD BE LAUGHED AT FOR FALLING FOR THIS DUMB SCAM. I AM BEGGING FOR SOME HELP!!!!

First, let me say that I was also called by these scumbags after my sister told me she and her husband were looking into a loan to get a new van. When they called me I told them that I knew they were scammers and in response in addition to a lot of things I cannot say here they told me they would kill me. Anyway, my sister needed some money to pay for the tax, tag and title of a van she is buying. They went to A1 Cash Advance because they desperately need to get this new van as her car is going to die any day. They need a reliable car because their two girls have heart problems and they need to get back and forth to Boston for their doctors. They didn't know it was a scam so they sent these people $183 from their account. Then they tell my sister and brother in law that they need to put $285 on a money pak card. At this point I told them not to do it. I told them it was a scam. The scammers worked something out with my brother in law that they will so kindly allow him to only send $105. At which point they called me to see if they could borrow it from me. I told them I have no problem giving them the money but just do not send it to those scammers.

I contacted the company with brief information online www.advance.com. They wanted the first payment up front. I lost one Vanilla reload fee to somewhere and disputing this. I finished everything in two weeks since i dont have a lot of funds. Fees are used through Vanilla Reload cards and can get these at any store like a pharmacy. All fees were completed. They tried my bank but my bank does not have a "link" with them so refused. They said my funds will be western union to me as i paid these fees also, and nothing. There are more details but this report does not allow this. I will talk to authorities or valid investigators. Avoid online loans with upfront fees and using other than a valid money business method. Apparently Vanilla card reloads for for individuals not business as i found out later. On;ine money is bad news.

I was called by a man name Marquis he'd told me I was approved for a $2000.00 loan but do to my credit I had to purchase A vanilla reloadable and put $150 on it but the money would not be touched it would be for my use. only the man had me on the phone I gave him my bank account number and my routing number and he said that he could not direct deposit the money into my account. I had another card and put $120 on so they can western union it to me. I told the man nevermind I did not want it just return my hundred fifty that they took off my card and he told me they never took 200 off my card it was still on there. when I called the card the money was going, when I ask for my money back he told me know only way I can get my money back it if I will pay 120 for them to Western Union the money to me. I called the Better Business Bureau and reported A 1 cash advance and they said then they don't have no corresponding with them they was a rip off. man when I kept calling the company back nobody is picking up the phone. when I call back today September 14 2014 now I hear different message. all I want my hundred fifty dollars back that's all.

Received Email With Letter Of Loan Approval In The Amount Of 5000...With Fee 520. Thought it was not bad. Letter said to call Paul Johnson. Loan manager. Called and was talking with a man with accent.(but name Paul johnson). Anyways said my loan was approved and to go to war greens I needed to supply him with proof that I'd be able to make monthly payment of 230. He gave me a payment start date. It was very convincing. Said because of my low credit there policy is to verify I have first payment on hand before loan could be directly deposited in to my account. Assured me that I would not pay anything today. That I'll be strictly verifying cash on hand. Walked into was green and while Paul stayed on phone he instructed me to by a vanilla reload network card. (Not the visa card) but the card used to put money on then transfer to your vanilla visa card at a later time. I loaded it with 230. And asked him where would the money be transferred to as I don't have a vanilla visa card. He then instructed me too read off my pin number which is used to transfer money to the actual vanilla visa debit card. (Which I didn't have). I caught on and refused to give him the pin. He got upset...said I am wasting his time. I needed to know that I need to give it just for verifying and he was not going to take it out of the card. I said bull crap. If I gave him the pin number he would of surely downloaded it to his vanilla visa and I would have never seen my money again. To everyone please please don't fall for it. They talk fast and are very demanding. And once I told him off and requested that he no longer call my number. He called me back like 20 times. What loan company does that...scam scam scam.

I was contacted fro a loan i applied for with them. THey then emailed me an approval letter letting me know the terms of my loan. So i contacted them to speak to someone voice to voice they assured me that there was an issued approving my credit score and i need to show some proof of my ability to repay my installment amount. i got the amount inputted in my account and they stole it after they assured me i wouldn't be charged. When i told them i don't want the loan anymore they told me we want more money to process my loan. i told them i want my money back they transfered me to a supposed loan officer who wanted more money before they gave my money back. i said no and then they kept hanging up on me and when they don't hang up they are mean and say you'll never get your money back.

I was indeed looking for a Payday loan. I was contacted by Michael Johnson of A1 Cash Advance advising me that I was approved for a $3000 loan. However, because of my bad credit I would need to secure to make a deposit of $225.00 on a Green Dot Money Pak. I should have known this was a scam because one particular Walmart no longer carries the Money Pak. I called Mike Johnson and he informed me to go to Radio Shack or CVS, now that I think back he was in a panic. I got the Money Pak and felt nervous but he assured me that I had his word that the money would be deposited in my account in 30 minutes. I received another call telling me that because of the fee to transfer money from State to State it would be another $200 for me to send them. I broke down crying now that I realized that it was a scam and he began to laugh and say, "Lady your tears are not going to help".....that really hurt.

When Greendot said it was nothing I could do, I thought I would have a heart attack. I am a single mother, who lost my job and just wanted to keep our furniture and pay rent. I wished from all the other ripoff reports that someone would put a STOP to this company. They have hurt so many people.

Very, very sad...they must be stopped!
