Acoustic Fidelity Reviews

It looks like everybody's caught onto brands like Spectrum, Nexis, Theater Research, Wahldorf, Dahlton, Dogg, Vanderbach, Volk, JVL, Kirsch, Madrid, Dresden, Denson, etc.. Now, appearing today for the first time (at least the first time I noticed whilst surfing looking for home theater gear) is a new brand, Acoustic Fidelity. Same M.O., cheap looking dinky little surround speakers, glowing praise at the website but no 3rd party links to reviews. In fact, there were no reviews to be found of either Acoustic Fidelity or Montage Acoustics which also appeared today. Also, insanely high "list" prices, and absolutely no contact info like a physical address, e-mail address, or phone number. Their website is skin deep, Just some promo talk, a page with the products, and a contact form which, if it follows buyers' experiences at other, similar websites, is most likely worthless.

Their speaker line appears to be rebadged speakers, for the most part, of some of the brands listed above.

As an aside, this is what $2,499 gets you, an unpowered subwoofer, 4 little Bose Jewel knockoffs, and a teeny center channel speaker. No amplification of any kind. Zero nada. No phase control on the sub, no user adjustable crossover on the sub. No volume control on the sub. No frequency reposnse claims are published.
