After losing my health coverage in New York - due to Obamacare i contacted Adcahb Medical Coverage to get a policy in Florida. I spoke with agent Manny Torres. He advised me to get a policy that had a high deductable and then purchase insurance policies that would cover that deductable in the event of accident or illness. This was not an ideal situation, but it was the best i could do.
I just got a letter today from BC.BS stating that policy is obsolite and was obsolite when it was sold to me. I was told it does not meet ACA - (afordable care act - Obamacare) mandates. I know have to get new insurance which will be double the cost.
I know have lost insurance twice due to Obamacare and find myself trying to find a policy i can afford. I do not qualify for subsidies so will eventuall end up paying thousands of dollars more a year for much less coverage.
nobody at Adcahb cares that this happened - i was told - well that's not illegle!! nobody at BS/BS cares that thier representative sold me an obsolite policy
do not use Adcahb - they will give you bad advise and sell you obsolite policies. i have been ripped off and betrayed.
