If Adirondack values these tenets and holds them to be true, then back up it up by fixing the fireplace. Sometimes you have to do what is right to rectify an issue, and if it involves not making a profit on the customer so be it. Mr. Mormile's company had visited the house three times and charged for each trip for parts and labor. I don't think I'm asking too much to have the fireplace serviced without throwing more money at the situation. The reason I didn't initially respond to Art's request to come out a fourth time was due to the fact he didn't know what was wrong with unit. I didn't want to incur another charge and have a non-working fireplace for an extended period of time. As it turned out, it was one of the coldest winters in recent memory and I was without a supplemental heat source for our family-room for months. It is totally unreasonable to want to charge me yet again for service that I already paid for that may or may not resolve the issue.
