Advance Cash Services Reviews

I have been receiving emails since April 22, 2015 about ACS collecting a payday loan debt. They claimed I owe and if I do not pay by May 21st they will take legal action.

I reply to the email asking for more information about this loan and how I can settle it if it was true. They been sending emails with only the amount of debt, the amount they will settle with and only one way to pay this debt.

In any of my emails (10+) I have never been addressed by my name, only "dear debtor". The only option for payment is a Reload Card named Reloadit. This two reasons and the constant threaths are highly suspicious.

Hope they get stopped soon!

As you are aware, you have a small pay day loan bill of $986.45 that remains unpaid. We feel we have done everything possible within reason to collect the money you owe us. We have decided that unless you make immediate plans to repay us this money, we will write this debt off our books and claim it as “bad debt loss” to the IRS.

Did you know that any money you owe us and don’t pay should legally be declared as “additional income” for you or your business during the year in which you incurred the debt?

If we decide to write off this debt, we will use IRS form 1099-A which will show the IRS that the $986.45 became income for you and bad debt for Advance Cash America.

Please, for your sake, pay this bill or do revert to set up some type of Settlement plan for you. If we have not heard from you within 2 days of the date of this e-mail, we will submit papers to the IRS to initiate action.

I received an email at my employer, I have never gotten a cash advance or heard of this company-below is what I received!

I replied, asked for phone #, received very hateful reply from [email protected] that I they are internet only and no phone availble, and she replied "You are obviously avoiding resolving this matter with me, I will proceed to send something to your employer, have you arrested and freeze your bank account!"

Dear Debtor,

This is the last and final notification as we are going to proceed with the legal charges against you and you will be soon served with the court papers. If you really want to avoid the situation, we merely require you to contact us back to make the payment.

Just in case we do not hear back from you, we will proceed further with the charges and we have the entire right to inform your employer about the situation, garnish your wages and freeze all your bank accounts.

I was shock when I checked my e-mail today to find the I had been contacted by ACS about a loan for 945.87 that I most certainly did not take out. I was threaten, that legal action will be taken against me and if the case had to be turned over to the legal services department that I would be looking at paying the loan plus court cost to the tune of 5035.00 in the end.

Clearly this is an attempt to scam people out of there money including and especially our senior population who are more likely to simply pay rather that fight a supposed legal battle.Something has to be done

I recieved an email claiming to be from Advance Cash Services. They claimed in the email that I owed them $870.69, with an original loan amount of $300.

In the email they said they would be filing charges against me for Bank Fraud, Violation of Federal Law of Debt and Banking, and Intentional Theft by Deception.

I had never heard of this company so I called the phone number at the bottom and got a man named David, who wanted my name, social security number and wanted me to pay the $870.69 IMMEDIATLY "or else".

Then I looked up the address and found out the address actually belongs to Chester's Check Cashing Center. I called them and spoke with the owner Joe, who assured me that it was a scam and to just delete it.

On March 10,2015 I recieved an email from ACS saying that I owed them 3341.86 but they would settle for 956.45.I recieved 2 more emails basiclly demanding when I was going to settle this matter or they were going to take it to court. I have an appointment with my lawyer on March 16 to turn these emails over to him to possibly sue this company for as large an amount as we can get for the distress they have caused me.

I have also talked to 2 Members Choice Credit Union offices and found out that I do not have an account with them and have never had an account with them. I was further informed that if ACS send money to them if I didnt have an account with them they would have sent it back.

This company needs to be stopped from doing this to anyone else. If anyone wants to start a class action suit or any kind of lawsuit against them contact me and I would be glad to assist.

You are going to be legally prosecuted in the Court House within couple of days. Your SSN is put on hold by US Government, so before something goes wrong we would like to notify you about this matter. At this point you have made your intentions clear and leave us no choice but to protect our interest in this matter.

Your line of credit is over 60 days past due, but it is not too late to restore your good standing!

We want to serve as your trusted financial resource in the future, but to do that; we’ll need to come to an agreement on the past-due balance.

On September 22, 2014 I got a disturbing email from a company claiming to be legal collections for a service called advanced cash service (ACS). They told me that I took out a 300.00 loan and I was entitled to pay back 945.67 by the end of the month OR I could call them within 48 hours and setlle the matter for only 498.88. When I called the number a guy by the name of Alex Williams answered the phone barely speaking any English told me that if I was calling it was because I owed them money. The thing I was mostly worried about was all the information they knew about me such as my name, ssn, and driver license number. It was jsut creepy. I am only 25 years old and nothing like this has ever happened to me before so I was in total shoke. I was worried about them messing up my credit and everything. So I took it up upon myself to call the police and have this incident already reported in case anything big was about to happen. I got a police report and I emailed to rude man back and told them that this matter was out of my hands and I have already contacted the police and if they wanted to take me to court then I would be there just give me a date and a time and to my knowledge guess what? They never emailed me back and they quit harrassing me. These people are SCAMS this how they make their livings but threatening other people out of their paychecks. Do what I did and go to the police station and then tell them that someone from court or the police department will be handling your case and if they need any information regarding whatever it is that they claim you did then they would have to speak to them.

I am getting emails from this company saying that I applied for a payday loan from them when I did not. I do not owe any money at all to any payday loan companies. I am sure that this is a scam. I have contacted the real company and there are no loans outstanding with my information at all. I also contacted this company several times and they keep saying that they are going to file paperwork saying that they are going to garnish my wages at my place of employment. I have contacted my employer about this and they are going to block these scammers. If anyone is getting these type of emails in their emails they should just do what I am doing, have the company investigated for fraud.

Dear Debtor,

Our company (ACS INCORP) has authorized us to recover the full amount due to them. As we put your Social Security Number into our National Checking Database System we found that you have been never charged for a fraud activity & that’s the reason Court House has decided to give you chance to take care of this issue outside the Court without having a report on your Credit History and Social Security Number. We regret that if we do not receive your response within the next 48 hours, we shall have no alternative but to take action through your local County Court to recover the amount due together with court costs and legal fees which is approximately $2645.43

AS YOU ARE A DEFAULTER ON THIS CREDIT UNITED LEGAL INVESTIGATION BUREAU HAS STATED 3 SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS AGAINST YOU AND THEY ARE:

(1) VIOLATION OF FEDERAL BANKING REGULATION

(2) COLLATERAL CHECK FRAUD

(3) THEFT BY DECEPTION

If Court action is taken and Judgment / Decree obtained against you to recover the sum due, we may need to ask the court to make one of the following orders should the debt remain unpaid:-

• Warrant of Execution (Exceptional Attachment Order). Seizure and sale of movable non-essential assets / property by a County Court Bailiff or Sheriff Officer

• Attachment of Earnings base (Earnings Arrestment). Deduction from your wages by your employer or arrestment of part of your salary to satisfy the debt

The Factual Basis for the complaints is as follows:-

You agreed to return the funds from the aforementioned income advancement as per contract.

And as per the agreement the funds have yet to be returned and the collateral has proven to be null that is to say of no value. At present, ACS INC is seeking either of the following remedies:-

All funds to be returned as per terms of initial contract

Dear Customer as we were investigating your profile, we found you to be a genuine person so it is our duty to help you out but for that we need some right answers from your side. Also we would like to know your intentions?
