Aaron shehan akrc home improvement was Suppost to build me an outdoor building. I paid him $750 dollars deposit and that day he inserted 4 wooden poles into concrete. The next week it rained and Aaron did inside work that I wanted it done. I paid Aaron for the inside work which was great work. He left early on that Friday to go bid another job and assured me he would be back that Saturday to finish the outdoor building. He never showed s Saturday after I called several times he returned my call saying his truck broke down. He stated that he would try and come Sunday but that he had to talk with his wife. Never heard from him Sunday. The next week he had excuse after excuse as to why he was not there. I t was beautiful weather outside. My husband finally told him to just give us back our money or get the shed some asap. He agreed to refund us out money. He said he sent the check in the mail on several occasions but we never received the check and he will not reply at all. I have all of his text messages saved and the contract stating I have him $750 deposit on the building. Are in also build a large deck that was Suppost include and electrical outlet which is also in a contract I paid him 2,200 and he never finished the deck since it does not have the outdoor outlet like in the contract. He left lots of wood in our back yard for us to clean up and some sheet rock and his wheel barrel in my garage. He has asked for us to leave the wheel barrel outside so he can come and get it but I refuse to without him bringing me my $750 that he owes me. We are currently filing a civial action against him and his company in court.
Alvin Mayers purchased a coupon from us for 199.00 dollars with the details clearly stated on the coupon.....8' high ceilings and customer to supply all materials including paint (as coupon states) My wife actually called Mr Mayers to go over the details....Mr mayers indicated that he had a one story home no higher that 8' upon arrival Mr mayers wanted the whole front of his 30' townhome painted and some masonary work done as well for 199.00 dollars....Mr mayers had no materials on site and asked me to pay for them....
I simply told Mr Mayers it will be more money for labor and materials, he in turn told us he will get his money back went in his house and slammed the door. We have refunded his money and he is posting our company name all over the internet with malicious lies. Mr mayors also had a letter from the HOA requesting the work to be completed a month ago. His money has been refunded and he still chooses to bash our family owned business wherever he can.AKRC Is now seeking legal counsel to stop his malicious actions that have no truth behind them.

Mr. Shehan performed sub-par work on my home in 2013 only to leave it incomplete, blew off many appointments with ridiculous excuses and refused to finish work. I left a 100% legitimate Yelp! review for his company here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/shehan-carpentry-and-contracting-cumming and in return he posted false Yelp reviews on my comapany's page posing as a customer of the company and berating myself personally, then posted false and libelous accusations on my company's FACEBOOK page accusing me of harassing him and his wife via cell phone at late hours of the night with prank calls. This eventually went to court as I sued him for breach of contract and unbelievably, the judge awarded him a default judgment because I did not appear to do not being served properly. Mr. Shehan was not licensed or insured as a contractor at the time he performed the work in my home and testified UNDER OATH that he had no proof or records of said harassment and ADMITTED he was not licensed or insured.
