On March 11, 2014 between 9:00pm and 10:00pm, I purchased a car frono tBoris, and his father, Sergey, at Alpha Motors Inc. The check engine light was not on when I purchased the car, or when the mechanic checked the car prior to the purchase. On March 12, 2014 between 9:00am and 10:00am, the check engine light came on.
When the light came on, I went to get the codes read by the machine at 4 different Auto zones and 1 O'Reilly. The codes read that there is something wrong with the transmission. The issue could be fixed by a transmission fluid flush, buying a new part, or at the very worst I May Need A New Transmission!
I could not believe that I was having this major issue less then 24 hours after purchasing this car! I did call Boris and demanded an explanation. He said that I must be a bad driver and That he'll check on it. I told him I wanted my money back, and he said no to the refund. I never heard back from Boris.
Since I'm busy at work, just like any normal person, I tried to convince myself that maybe it is a simple flush or part. I then noticed that every time the car would shift, the gears would jump all over the place and slip - which is a common issue that occurs when your transmission is blown! Oil started leaking drastically from the car as well, and got worse every week until the car had a huge pile of oil underneath it.
I finally had time off from work, so on April 1, 2014, I took it to my mechanic. My mechanic fixed the oil leak, and tells me that my bearings are completely shot, and that I also need a new transmission! My mechanic also mentioned that when he opened up the transmission, it was very obvious that someone prior had put new looking parts in the transmission, and that whoever I bought this car from(Alpha Motors Inc.) Knew about the bad transmission and turned the check engine light off.
To make a long a story short, I called Boris and said I want a refund because in the state of Colorado, if you buy a car from a dealer and something goes wrong within the month after purchase date, the law is: refund me all my money and they are supposed to take the car back. Boris claimed that there is no such law. Boris also said that they don't do refunds and that it has been more then a month and told me good luck and to have a good day.. Boris also said that I don't make sense. In all reality, he doesn't make sense because that is the law and I hasn't been more then a month.
There are more messed up things that they did. I would write them all, but the message I want to get across is: Do Not Buy A Car From Alpha Motors Inc! They Failed To Tell Me About the Failed Transmission. If I would have known about this, I wouldn't have bought the car in the first place! They Also Won't Refund Your Money Even if it's Within 24 Hours Of Buying A Car!
