I WAS an artist for Find Art American and paid a fee to belong. First, after I signed up I wrote a blog to introduce my art and posted the blog. I got a very rude email telling me I was blocked from my site for inappropriate actions. Part of the money I paid was for blogging.
I called their phone number and they said they do not talk to the artists, that they only talk to customers. I asked how to get my account opened as there must have been an error and they did not know.
So, I searched and found a place to email them. After three days, someone wrote me back and told me I could not blog until i had posted a number of paintings to the site. NO WHERE does it say that nor that you would be blocked if you blog before you post art. I asked why and they said they thought I was spamming. My biography of my art was not spam.
Then I had someone order cushions and they sent the wrong size. Then they reordered and again, they were ripped and wrong size. So I ordered cushions and they were made in such poor quality. The seams were ripped, there were gaps by the zippers in BOTH cushions. I reordered them and as of this date, I still do not have them.
Another customer ordered a cushion and they ordered the size that was on the website. IT was the wrong size.
Customer Service said that the size in the listing is not the size you receive.
As an artist, I lost money as they company did not take the hit, I did in both product and reputation for THEIR poor quality. The customer service department stopped responding when I asked for additional help.
They admitted they had someone new in the Atlanta Office sewing several times. But they still sent out poor quality.
I have had to close my account as I do not want my customers to recieve poor quality, ever.
