Laboratory reports must be current to be of use to physicians. As a registered nurse, I know they must also be available! I asked how long until the lab results are returned. I was told "A few hours." Based on that, I had the lab tests done early in the morning the day before the doctor's appt in the afternoon. (About 33 hours)
I called back in the afternoon, and they said, "It is not back. Try tomorrow morning."
The next day, I waited unti noon, and called them. This time they said they did not know when the resuts would be returned.
I tried speaking to the franchise owner, but she accused me of lying, stating her staff would never promise a lab result before 3 days. Well, they did. And I do not appreciate being called a liar.
I went to the doctor's office and they had to repeat the tests at double expense to me! Plus, I needed to make another doctor's appt to discss their results.
