My husband started to talking to Arrow Trucks Sales in Feburary about purchasing a used semi; he was approved for a 2006 Freightliner. We went up to sign papers on March 21st and we were looking the truck over and noticed body damage to it- the headlights were not aligned; the front bumper had damage to it (more extensive than hitting a deer) and we were told oh no its not been wrecked. It looked like it had been welded together. Their was cosmetic damage to the hood; he also asked if a dyno had been done on it and was told that it would be taken care of.

Three weeks later went to pick it up and he noticed that the jake brake and cruise control did not work. Also the inside had not been cleaned up; the old mattresses were in there and only one had been replaced with a new one(double bunks)

We drove it to Dallas with really no problems for the age of the truck but he noticed that the gear box was leaking. Took it to a Freightliner in Arlington to have that fixed ;only to sit for almost 2 hours to determine if Arrow was paying for the repairs; the service manager and my husband both trying to call Arrow to get it authorized and they would not answer their phones (no one in the building would answer) only to be told oh we were all outside

Finally got that fixed (or so we thought) He left Dallas on a Friday April 11th on his way to Kissammee Florida only to discover that the gear box was leaking again. Had to stop in Slidell La to have the filter replaced because it was not done in Arlington

He made it Kissammee to unload and had to have more work done in Florida only to have to deal with Arrow once again to have the repair work approved; also the fuel filter looked like it had never been changed; it was full of water and trash

Made it to Atlanta only once again to have more work done on the truck and fighting tooth and nail to have Arrow approve repair work.

He sat from the 16th til the 21st waiting on authorization and parts to come in. He has lost ALOT of money because of Arrow Truck Sales

If they had done their job right in the first place we would not be in the position we are in. My husband asked them the day we went to sign the papers after looking at the cosmetic damage if he had anything else on the lot comparable to what we were buying and we were told no; this truck is a LEMON; I believe the salesman knew that when he drove it off the lot

I don't believe that they don't stand behind their trucks; I think he needed to get rid of this one and unfortunately he sold it to us; It has had to have more work done on it than we have been able to drive it; it is very frustrating and time consuming

I dont believe they went through that truck throughly like they should have; too many bugs that have not been worked out and probably never will be.
