Dear Mr. Unterreiner,

I am writing too you today in an attempt to resolve ongoing warranty, service and cooperation issues surrounding service call's to the above address for the failed repair of a ice maker in a Whirlpool refrigerator; model number GI6SDRXXB06, serial number K20711770. The most resent incident number is 33449304.

After six attempts by your service provider of choice, D&S Appliance Service, they have been unable to repair the ice maker despite replacing all parts that could be replaced. According to D&S Appliance Service, they have informed your claims department on three separate occasions that the ice maker is not repairable, yet your company refuses to honor my warranty. Instead your company claims that water pressure is low. Since D&S Appliance Service never measured the water pressure, and since the cold water outlet works with plenty of flow, there is no way your company could know water pressure is at fault. As of today D&S Appliance Service has refused to respond to the last three service calls placed by your companies call center stating that the ice maker is not repairable.

I have spoken with your customer service as well a supervisor and have received no satisfaction. I found them to be well schooled in avoidance and delay. They have been made aware that D&S Appliance Service has been unresponsive to the last three service calls and state there is nothing they can do. I requested they send out a different service provider and they refused.

My water supply is on a well with a 40/60 pressure switch. A recent pressure test, requested by your call center, confirms the switch is working and reads correctly, eliminating water pressure as a problem.

I am asking you to either provide service and repair the ice maker, demonstrate that low water pressure is at fault or honor my warranty.

This problem has existed since November 2014 and has reached epic proportions of avoidance and finger pointing. I do hope you share the importance of a swift resolution to this standoff.

Me, my family is simply workers.

When happened thief- we talk to our agent. Which we been costomers in this company assurant.com for a few years.

We provided police report, witnesses, list of all items.

And since 2012 till now the company did not pay a dollar back.

Seems, the company is fraud. We went through private detective and investigated 1000s cases-'re company never will pay a client.

We are simply victums!

Stay away from this company.

And ASAP file report here and other web sites, if you hear the same.Thank you.

I had a fire claim with Assurant Inc./American Bankers Insurance Company, in May 2014. The insurer has diliberately ignored the estimates sent to them for my loss, and refused to pay what is within my policy limits to return my residence and contents to preloss condition. Furthermore, I have had to retain an attorney, employ and Industrial Hygienist, and pay fees out of pocket in excess of eight thousand dollars to get them to offer any type of good faith settlement. Also, based on the Industrial Hygienist Report, the residence was a health hazard, in that the HVAC system should have ceased use immediately, as soot was throught the residence, despite my numerous attempts at cleaning myself. . With this knowledege at their disposal, the insurer continued to keep me in this environment for over sixty days, with my continued request for alternate housing, due to continued coughing. Now going on (90 Days), there is still no resolution to my claim with this company. Based on their Gross Negligence and Bad Faith Actions, the time has come to seek litigation against them.

That being said, Our Attorney is process of preparing a "Class Action Suit" agains stated insurer.

This petition is being started to enable those with unpaid or underpaid insurance claims filed with Assurant Inc./American Bankers Insurance, within the past two years, to join a class action suit against stated Insurer, and to allow damages to be sought by the "class," for insurers bad faith practices.

So I created a petition to Assurant Inc., which says:

"This petition is to join a class action lawsuit against Assurant Inc./American Bankers Insurance, for their diliberate Bad Faith Settlement Practices, and failure to honor their policy contracts with their insured. In that, Assurant Inc./American Bankers Insurance, intentionally delays good faith claims, and refuses to cover losses claimed under its policy's, in order to return property and/or contents to preloss conditions. "

Assurant insurance co. will go into your bank account without authorization and take out money even though you do not owe them or have a premium due.

Very rude! Tried to charge my card before I was even approved! Was more worried about Life Insurance which I already have, than health insurance. Scam!!!

Tried to contact OCwen loan servicer. Wanted to know if I was authorized to speak to rep. Home owner died and wife had no access to speak to Ocwen but daughter did. Asked to speak to supervisor - canned response "my supervisor will give you the same information I'm giving you".

Finally got supervisor - told them daughter not on loan, not on will, not on deed and if she gained the "authorized 3rd party rep designation" through a Power of Attorney, that POA died with the home owner died. I asked to speak with legal dept but was told the Legal Dept does not accept calls.

I asksed to have Legal Dept call me back but they said Legal Dept does not accept calls. I asked to speak with supervisor's supervisor and was told again "you will get the same response I gave you" and "Your'e already speaking to a supervisor" I asked if she was the person in charge at OCWEN and she finally admitted that her supervisor was a manger. I asked to speak with a manager and was told I could, and will get the call back in 24 hours.

OCWEN, I was told, is an "International" company with office sin India, Uruguan and Florida as well as other countries. There's no way you'll talk to them unless you have money to pay.

Good luck and if anyone has success in speaking to someone other than a supervisor, pass it on to me!

I will try to keep this as brief as possible.

When renting with Assurant Renters, please make sure you verify the entire agreement since there are many and I mean many loop holes and terminolgoy that will leave you stuck!

The customer service I recieved from the Vice President Mr. Punsalana and Senior Mr. Angel Martinez was very condesending and demeaning. They tried every which way not to pay my claim even dough the website clearly states customers are proctected which is a total scam and total rip off!

Both of these gentelman or should I say, crooks, easily wiggled there way out of paying my claim buy using insurance terminology that I am not aware of and found loop holes in my agreement that I didnt know existed. I asked repeatedly for an re inspection and can show proof of my claim but they did not want to hear me and kept the call short. In fact, the tag team between the both of them with me on the phone left me unsettled.

BE CAREFUL of this company and move on to another insurance carrier! They have many many loop holes in the agreement and will not PAY!
