We paid for fridge insurance for 13 yrs . Had SAmE problem over and over and ow they said not able to fix so want to pay us $296.14 for the fridge that she paid $230.00 a year to insure.

This company sucks told my 78 year old mother it was her fault for not readind fine pri t in contract she got 13 years ago. Said they sent tearms and conditions out in mail whenthey sent bill. We never got them and they called to renew her contract and took momey right out of checking. When i told them this they said when she had missed payments they sent then she never has but 2 missed payments in 13 years because she lost her debit card and had to get new one and as soon as new one came they got payment.

this is why u never buy extended warrentys because they always find a reason not to pay.

hope they make someone mad enough that something gets done ( blow up their building) just saying i sooooo mad right now this company SUCKS

Assurant Solutions Nayeem S is a scam artist. He promises, but Nayeem lies about everything. He has no idea how to fix things. Assurant Solutions promised to repair my t-mobile cell phone and after three attempts it's still not fixed. How do these individuals even get hired? I called and still my cell phone doesn't work.

Assurant Solutions doesn't have the faintest clue and worst of all if you wait around for Nayeem to fix anything, you'll be waiting forever. Assurant Solutions is the worst cell phone repair company I have come across.

I lost my iphone 6 plus on nov 15, 2014. then i filed claim thru myphpinfo.com. one week later, i was told that i am on 30 days review. Alright, fine, I had to wait, even through i am not happy about that. on dec 16th, which is 30 days after, I called in for status. they promised to have the review team to call me with 48 hours. There is no one calling me after 72 hours. I called in again, the same woman named Jenniffer pick up the phone. after length conversation, she put me into anther 30 days review, starting dec 18th!! And she said, this is company decision, "if you are not happy, contact my legal department."

Avoid this company, I smell racism from here.

Assurant Solutions is an insurance for cell phones that largely uses automated services. If there is an issue with your claim, if you make an error on the form, or if they make an error, it is seemingly impossible to get them to make it right. You will not receive a cell phone, or your deductible back to you.

Assurant Solutions: Please give me money. T-Mobile already kindly gave me a new phone since your service is the worst ever. You have no right to my deductible, since you are sending me no phone.

They take your deductible in less than 5 minutes. I noticed right away an error in my claim, so I called the toll free number, 1-866-866-6285.

The rep, Matt, was rude. He said he was overwhelmed, he seemed put out I called. I asked for an email confirming I asked for a refund, I was told 'we aren't allowed to do that because it goes through several processing steps before it gets approved.' I asked several different ways if I could receive any confirmation at all, and he said no. He also said, "We only have 48 reps and millions of customers, so we can't do any confirmation at all." Terrible experience. He told me they would mail out my refund within 10 business days. Lie.

Of course, no confirmation or follow-up was ever received from them. I called 7 business days later, and I was told by rep Robert, there had been an error, he was sorry, and he was refiling the paperwork. He was kind, but I was still told I could not receive any type of confirmation number or email about my refund. I again asked for a manager, I was told one was not available. Again.

I called 5 days later, I was told by rep Bree it had been approved, and it was still in process. I had 1 additional call, again, told approved, but they weren't sure how much longer it would be.

I called Wednesday, 08/20/2014, and rep Malcolm sounded like he didn't feel well. He seemed confused, and not inclined to help. He first told me he had to start the claim all over again. When I asked for a manager, he put me on hold, the told me my refund would be deposited to my account by 08/21/2014, but that I could not speak to a manager. Again. I asked for an email confirmation. He wasn't even nice about it.

Here's also what I emailed them throught their 'contact us' form on their website: Craig Lemasters, You run the shadiest company it's ever been my misfortune to deal with. I need my refund that I've been asking for since 07/29/2014. The claim was canceled immediately, because there was an error in the phone you were trying to send me. (You tried to downgrade my phone) In calling for the 5th follow up to your company Wednesday, I was for the 2nd time told I can not speak to a manager (perhaps your reps have no managers?), also your reps tell me they are not allowed to email me a confirmation that they are filing my refund, or any email at all. I was told Wednesday by your rep Malcolm (again 5th attempt at this refund), that it would be deposited to my account yesterday (8/21/2014). Of course, this was yet another lie from your company. Previous reps had told me they always mail it. So, which is it? Where is my refund? This is an unacceptable, shady business practice. I am reporting to BBB and others, today. Contact me asap. It's only $100. This ridiculousness is not worth your reps time, or certainly not mine. Give me my money, since you have failed to provide the service. My carrier, T-Mobile went ahead and replaced the broken phone for me since you take 30 days and still have done nothing for me. So, I ONLY need the refund. August 14, 11:01am est.

I am told they insure a lot of technology, cell phones, etc. Businesses, please look elsewhere. Consumers, please choose another path. Assurant Solutions wants your money, they are not willing to provide any real service if they need to actually do something beyond an automated money-taking system.

Assurant Solutions / Craig Lemasters: Please refund me my money. Unless your reps are making less than $10 an hour (ridiculous), this is not worth their time, and mine is worth way more than that, so I assure you it is not worth mine. Thank You!!

I have had an extended service plan on my washer and dryer since they were new. The warranty is through Assurant Solutions. I renewed the warranty June of 2013. Both washer and dryer developed problems and I called Assurant Solutions (888 481 4849) July 24th 2013 and scheduled an appointment.

A&E is the service provider and the first appointment was scheduled two weeks out on August 1st 2013 between 12pm - 5pm. No one called or showed up so I called A&E and I was told that the tech had a car wreck and was not going to show up and that it would be two more weeks before another tech would be available. I was never called and informed. I had to call.

The Scheduled date was August 19th 2013. On the 19th A&E Service Tech Butch. Butch told me he would have to order parts and that it would be two weeks before he could return. He scheduled an appointment for August 9th 2013.

On August 9th, A@E Tech Butch returned and replaced the parts and told me that everything worked. I checked both washer and dryer before he left and found that both washer and dryer still did not work. I told the tech that he needed to check the washer and dryer again because they still did not work. So he came back in and after checking out the washer and dryer said he would have to order additional parts and would return on September 16th.

On the 16th I called Assurant Solutions and they advised me that a tech would be on site between 8am and 1pm. At 1pm I called A&E and they said they had no appointments scheduled at all. I Called Assurant Solutions and told them what had happened and the put me on hold while they checked with A&E. I was told that there was a tech is scheduled for today and since he has not arrived that I would have to call A&E myself and see. I called A&E tech Butch on his cell phone and he told me that he was not scheduled for today but on September 26th. I was never told that and that's where I stand now. When I called A&E back they stated their system was down and they had no way to help me.

I would like my washer and dryer Replaced. The Tech has caused more damage and now they do no work at all. I request reimbursement for the cost of having to pay a cleaners to wash my clothes. After the washer and dryer is replaced or properly repaired, I want reimbursement for 1/2 the cost of the warranty from Assurant Solutions.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone through TMobile, and bought the "insurance," which does not replace the phone for free, but rather charges you $175.00 to replace it (rather than paying another $600.00 to replace the phone, and on top of the monthly charege I pay to insure the phone).

My purse was lost, and in it the phone, as well as my debit/credit cards. I went to TMobile to file the paperwork to get the phone replaced, and because I have no cards (and it was Sunday) I used a check. Assurance got on the phone with me, and before it processed my payment read me the notification that if my check did not clear they could charge me $25.00. I agreed, because I knew the money was in my account, because I had just transferred money into my checking account from my savings to cover the $175 (there was more than that in my account). But my check was declined. The agent gave me the number of Telecheck, who determines whether checks are approved or denied. She also informed me that i would be charged the $25.00 for the declined check. That fast.

I called Telecheck, and (after jumping through a million hoops to get to a live person, INCLUDING entering my routing #, account #, check # date, and amount on the phone keypad) the they told me that the amount ($175) was too much, as I was a new account and had never used their services before, they could not approve it. I explained that the money was in my account, and they said they had no access to see my account. WHAT???

So basically, Assurant Solutions made a cool $25.00 off me. Even though i have the money. It costs $175 to replace the phone, but that's too much money, according to Telecheck. I have no new phone, and I am out $25.00.

SCAM!!!

I received a defective replacement phone from my cell phone company's insurance carrier. The cost of the replacement phone was $175.00 and was deducted from my account immediately!!!!

I returned the phone. It took a couple of weeks for the processing center to receive the phone from the warehouse before they could process my claim (eventhough the tracking informaion indicated that they had received the phone).

After they received the phone they said that the reimbursement would take 10 business days. After the 10 business, there is still no reimbursement of funds into my account. I call back on a Friday evening and am told that I would receive a return call on Tuesday.

Tuesday, I get a return as promised, the supervisor on the voicemail indicated that I should receive my reimbursement either that day or the next. Wednesday, the next day I check my account, no reimbursement!!!

I called the company again and ask for a supervisor. The cusomer service rep that I spoke with was very curt, placed me on hold and then a supervsor came on about 4 minutes later. ( Way too long for an upset customer to be on hold). She the proceeeds to to me that she doesnt know why I was told that I should have already received my check because the reimbursement takes 10 business days!!!!!!!!

I have already more than 10 business days!!! She offered no solution or assistance, she just told me that the office that processes reimbursements have left for the evening.

Simply put....RIDICULOUS!!!!!

I was given a new cell phone from my mother for my birthday in 2013. It was a nice gift and it had features that made the phone perfect for me. It was waterproof up to 3 meters and 30 minutes. I live in Seattle and since it rains every day that sounded wonderful. The phone is garbage. I called the insurance company and was told I had to mail the phone to the manufacturer because it is less than a year old. l sent the phone in to them and got it back in a month and a half. Lovely that the manufacturer takes that long to fix it. So when it started doing the same thing. I again contact the manufacturer...they again take a month and a half to fix it.

So I waited until the year was up...and the phone was no longer under their warranty and I call Assurant to file a claim on this phone.

They basically told me that I could stuff it since my phone broke and I waited until the warranty was up before calling them. I told them why I waited but they told me they had already heard that from me and I didn't need to say that anyore. They told me I had to pick a date that it broke and would not accept since I first got the phone. I gave them a date that was somewhere near the time I got it back from the manufacturer the 2nd time. I was eventually told that you have to contact them 90 days from the day you get it back from the manufacturer after being repaired? I asked them why did I pay them for insurance if I had to get it fixed within 90 days of having it?

Here is the thing - according to the paperwork you fill out on the monthly insurance rate. It doesn't matter if you drop it (I didn't) if you submerge it in water (my phone is waterproof but I still didn't) - you get a replacement phone.

But in reality - 90 days is all you are covered for. If you have the phone more than 90 days and you try to file a claim on it? they deny you. I told them that the insurance on this phone could be canceled. And was told that I could do what I wanted they were not paying my claim. I told them I have their insurance on a total of 4 phones and they all could be stopped. If that's what you want then you go ahead and do that ma'am. They told me all of this until I told them I was recording the call. Then they were nicer.
