In 2011 we bought a new 95% efficient furnace from Assured Heating out of Dayton, Mn. Almost from the get-go we had problems with this furnace.
Recently, we had 2 other furnace repair companies come out to evaluate our furnace. Both told us the furnace we got installed 2 years ago was not a brand new furnace--but rather a reconditioned used furnace. Both these other professional furnace repair companies also told us the furnace was installed ""dangerously incorrect.""
In trying to get hold of Assured heating about this apparent fraud, they ignore now all phone calls and written correspondences from us.
We paid almost $4000 for this supposed new furnace and correct professional installation. Obviously we were ripped off--and hopefully this report prevents somebody else from meeting the same fate. If you have any questions you can reach me at (((REDACTED))).
