I called to make a appointment with Atlantic Oceans Carpet cleaning that I got a special from groupon. I finally got a call back from the Charlotte office to make appointment. She began to tell me that they didn't do stairs or it would be extra. I paid for 4 rooms. I said that's ok .Lets just do my living room and my 3 bedrooms upstairs. She then told me that they didn't do upstairs and that that would cost me extra, I told her that that didn't sound right and I wanted my money back. She told me that that's the way they ran their business and to read the fine print.. I did read the fine print and it said that my coupon didn't cover. Stairs, walk-in closets. pet odor, and anything past the 3rd floor. I tried to talk to her about that and she said .Do u want to cancelle or pay extra?? REALLY. So I called the nest day the guy that was over all the Atlantic carpet cleaning (JIM) he answerd the phone and I introduced myself and asked who I was speaking with. He said in a hateful voice who wants to know??? I said confussed is this Atlantic Ocean Carpet cleaning and he said yes. I told him I was tring to get intouch with the corporate office and he said he was the owner and what did I need. I began to talk to him about my situation and before I got out anything he yelled and cussed at me and to me. Saying what do u want? HE said Its my day off and its sat. and I'm with my kids and I don't answer calls on sat so what do I want again. as he was yelling and ugly. I told Jim in a very calming voice to calm down and I would tell him why I'm calling. He said No woman was going to talk to him that way and said don't you ever talk to me that way again and don't ever call back . I tried to call back and ask him to please help me with this situation and he just yelled don't call me back bitch. I was so mad I called and told him I was hiring a attorney for the way he talked to me and for the false advertising. Then I hung up. He is truly a nut job, I would not trust him in my home or around my children or even my pet. DO NOT USE THEM
i have a groupon and the man jim refused to honor he said i have to pay a extra 50.00 or wait a month what kind of scam is this ??? i have contacted groupon this person jim should be ashamed of himself a pure scam tisk tisk tisk

the owner is a very angry bad person a outwright bully !!!! he yells and screams as soon as you dont agree with him i feel so bad for his family i would never use this company ever again he outwright refused to adress a few issues with the cleaning started yelling at me laughed and called me a loser i just cant understand anyone who would use this terrible company i hope he finds help for his anger please stay away from this person he has very bad anger issues
Failed to show up for appointment. The owner Jim is extremely rude and will argue with the customer instead of apologizing. I took off for work and waited the entire day for the company to come out. The business owner referred to me as childish because I was upset concerning him not appearing. This business is a joke. Beware of this business you will be extremely disappointed with the service and lack thereof. He uses groupon as a gimmick. I think he picks who he wants to perform work for. By all mean do not buy his services on groupon.
We purchased a Groupon from Atlantic Oceans Carpet Cleaning and made an appointment for cleaning. We were putting our house on the market to sell in 2 days. When the men came to clean they called me and said our painters were still at the house and that they could not do their carpet cleaning.
The painters were supposed to be finished some touch up in the morning and the carpet cleaners were to come some time after noon. The painters offered to finish up and move any furniture they needed moved. The cleaners called me and said they could not do the work. I said I totally understand. They said they could come back on Saturday. I explained that would be too late because our house was going on the market on Wednesday.
The owner called and immediately said that it wasn't their fault. I told him I agreed but I was assured that the touch up painting would be done in the morning. He was beginning to get nasty and said that he still had to pay his workers and for gas to come to my house. Then he said (in an ugly tone) that we were going to have to pay a $49 same day cancellation fee. I said that I didn't see that anywhere in the paper work. He said that in the state of Virginia they don't have to have that written. I told him I wasn't going to pay it and he said that he would make sure it went on my credit. Then he called me a "loser" and hung up.
My husband called him back and complained about his unprofessional nature and about him talking to me the way he did. The man denied calling me a loser and said that he had the conversation recorded. My husband asked to hear it and the man said we would have to subpeona him to get it. My husband asked him for his name and he would not give it and then hung up. The customer service at this company is non-existent and extremely unprofessional.
