Aviata "Luxury" Apartments SUCK! I've lived at Aviata going on 8 years by now. I used to love the staff here. The maintinse guys are nice but that girl running the office she's a real b****! Uh huh I said that Some of the nicest people I met live round the front of the building next to mine and that ho up front is all over their shit like white on rice. The poor boy is crippled and his wife is so sweet and when I heard what that Gissel girl up front is doing to them it pisses me off. Girl, you need to stop f****** with those poor folk! What did they ever do to you to make you such a b**** to them. I saw the review on Google about Aviata and had to cut and paste it here because they have managed to get all my nice good neighbors to move after being here for years and now they let just anyone move in.
Aviata is f***** up now and my boyfriend won't even have me walk by myself at night any more cuz all the thugs living up in here. Please read Aviata's review below (i know who wrote it and he's right) before thinking about living here. If I could move I'd get out of here so fast! And, BTW, I think it would be a smart move to help that poor couple out. A smart person would pay their first, last, and security for a house they can move into to get out of this shitty complex. The current management stopped doing background checks (cheap b*******), so now we have hookers, pimps, drug dealers, SOOOOOOOO many "minorities" (I'm trying to be nice about this), the crime rate is off the charts, and the parking is HORRIFIC!!! In the past 6 months there have been 34 crimes committed in Aviata the past 6 months, 128 the 6 before that (the holidays helped boost the robberies), and that's just the ones REPORTED on Metro's website. Funny how all the lights in the back have been "out" during all the break-ins! Coincidence? Bulls***! Inside job? Hmmmmmm? Can't sue for liable or slander if I'm using real facts and telling the truth; sucks, huh? Remember your words? "well, there's no proof so I can't help you"!! You were warned not to f*** with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONSIDERING RENTING IN AVIATA? Go to http://www.crimemapping.com/map/nv/lasvegas and type in 2121 E Warm Springs Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119. The Aviata management discriminates against the handicapped, doesn't provide adequate assistance to them, but is more than glad to be fat and lazy enough they GAVE THE MASTER KEY FOR THE ENTIRE COMPLEX to a neighbor of mine (they were locked out) and told them "JUST BRING IT BACK IN THE MORNING"....REALLY!!! I'm sorry, but get off your fat, lazy a**, unlock their door for them, and don't give a master key to ANYBODY, EVER!!! That is dangerous, incompetent, asinine, and just stupid!!!! You put people's property and lives at risk!!! No wonder there's been so many burglaries, break-ins, car theft, sexual assault, domestic violence, and disturbing the peace calls...Aviata management just doesn't care!!!!
WARNING: If after reading this you still decide to move into this cesspool of criminals and degenerates (not everyone, but the nice people are all moving out fast...I'm next), check Metro's website to verify the reported crimes, and believe me, there's many more. Make sure you ask them to spray every month (if not week) for cockroaches....they come up through the pipes; bad problem. They told me "just close the drains or cover them so the roaches don't get in". If you live downstairs, be extremely careful!! Lock your doors and windows, and make sure you set your alarm. If you have kids, be careful, there's a nasty pit bull living in there! Women that work late, be aware of your surroundings at night. Security (all unarmed) leaves the property between 2-3:00am, so after that you're on your own. Oh yeah, the gates are always broken (not like they keep people out), the water seems to be shut off once a month for "road work", and they will smile to your face then stab you in the back there. Read your leases carefully!! This is a very concerned, very pissed off consumer, but I'm just telling the truth and looking out for you.If you think I'm just someone with a vendetta, read other reviews. Notice what people are saying, and read through the "paid for media hype". If you still decide to move in after reading this or hearing "their side", then ignorance is bliss and you get what you deserve. By the way, after a couple of weeks/months you'll see all the carpet stains rise to the surface, patch jobs in the bathrooms and on the walls (and, yes, paint over scotch tape) come shining through, and the "glue" used to hold broken shit down or together starts coming loose.

Aviata Apartments in Las Vegas has become a ghetto in disguise. Don't let the exterior or the "refreshed interior" fool you. These apartments are old, run down, and are cosmetic cover-ups. Aviata Apartments new manager Gissel has no idea what she's doing. I miss Suzette and Kim; they used to be great! Their focus was more on the quality of the people they rented to. They were fair, treated people with respect, answered the phones, returned calls, solved problems instead of creating them, and didn't rent apartments to the scum of the earth like the new office people do.
Aviata apartments are run down, the office staff and management are so rude, and the CRIME in here has gone up since Gissel took over managing the place. I looked at the crime reports on Metro's website and wasn't shocked to see their stats for Aviata apartments. I see cop cars in here all the time. Never before, except for a courtesy patrol. In all the years I've lived here, this year is by far the worst. Police helicopters, police cars, ambulances, and stories from neighbors being vandalized, threatened, harrassed, broken into has never been so bad.
I'm an African American woman, and don't like the "n*****" they've been letting move in here. That why we get stereotyped; because of the punks and ho***that give all of us a bad rap. I told a young man to pull his pants up the other day as I was walking with my daughter and he said to me "shut your mouth b**** before I pistol whip your a**!" The same family always has their music blaring with that bass turned all the way up at all hours of the night. It's not just black folk. There are white, Mexican, Asian, Indian and everyone else that lives here. It used to be that the majority of people had jobs, were friendly, and neighborly. Now, Aviata apartments feels more like a low income housing project. It won't be long before it starts looking like one.
Everyone here, not unlike most places, talks about all the problems. I've heard more in the past year than I've heard in the 6 prior years I've lived here. Parking problems, vandalism, breakins, robberies, assaults, domestic violence. It's heartbreaking. I heard they stopped running background checks because it was too expensive. Explains a lot. I've heard that there have been so many breakins in the back of the complex...even more than up front. Everybody thinks the Aviata staff is somehow involved. The burglars always seem to know when people are gone, the lights at night don't come on when there's been a robbery, and security never seems to be around when it happens.
If I could afford to move out of here I would. I hope the gentleman that owns Aviata reads this and does something to make things right around here. I don't know if it's him being cheap or his office staff just trying to look good on paper. I heard he owns the Tuscany hotel and casino, so you'd think he could afford to hire a better staff, update appliances, put an outgoing mail slot in, and pay the security company to patrol past 2:00am. I don't feel safe here any more, do not like the quality of people they are renting to, and truly hope this can help anyone thinking about renting from Aviata. DON'T!!!!
