Las Cruces in general is plagued with incompetency. Probably because it's a small city and there is not much competition (for now). One of the finest examples is BALDERAS appliance repair. A very shady company who can't really keep one addresss and is mainly dedicated to rip people off.
I made the incredible mistake of having one of these people inside my house to take a look at an appliance that had broken down. Looked them up in the Yellow pages. At first this scumbag was very willing to take my money the first day to "take a look" at the appliance. After I paid him for the call he told me he was going to call me back, the next day. This never happened. Several days passed until I started calling them back.
The guy on the phone was giving me the run around and kept telling me they were going to call me back in "a few minutes" This never happened. I called them again several times with no answer. It was not near closing time so I know for a fact they were ignoring my calls and had no answering machine on. I called to a different phone number from the same company. A very rude and loud female employee answered and refused to give me her name. I asked to speak to a manager, she said the owner and manager had left for the day (it was 3:00 PM, wow!! I want a job like that!) so she was basically refusing to get me to speak to a manager. I called several times again with no answer. I filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau in order to get my money back and they refused to respond.
From reading other online reviews, it appears that several people have filed complaints with the attorney general, and they were still running their ripoff operation.
STAY AWAY from this company, it is not worth giving your hard earned money away to lazy, ignorant , irresponsible people, if they can be called people at this point.
