He gets in touch with woman who look naive or vulnerable, preferably divorced or widows.
He lures them with nice works and asks them for small things like a few dollars for some food or present for his daughter. Says he is on an off shore rig and cannot have access to his accounts. He puts these women as a test and after a long conversation he gains their trust and tells them that he did not run away after they sent him the small money for the present he asked.
He start asking them for other things including a letter confirming they are married so he can get some days off. If you ask for id he asks you to send first your id. These documents probably will be used to scam somebody else.
If you ask him to send his he might either send fake ones or else starts telling you you re not true and you don't feel anything for him and you are just abusing him or you are being brainwashed by your friends.
After long correspondences he may ask for more money this time it may be bigger and he might then disappear.
Be careful. It can get you in a very difficult position.
