I thought I was doing myself a favor by doing a few loads of laundry at the local Laundromat; ohh was I wrong.
First - you have to pay $4 for a laundry card, then after that you have to add money to $4 card that you just purchased.
Next - each wash is $2.75 per small load and I mean small. Or you can pay $5.50 per normal size load.
Drying - drying cost .75 for every ten minutes of drying. the machine randomly give you 10 or 20 mins of drying time. I guess that depends on the mood the dryer is in. After stealing money off of my card twice and not getting any drying tome for it, I told the attendent. She gave me a sobb story about how the dryers ""are really picky"". Sounds like a laundromat problem. She pullout her laundry card which show that it had $80.00 on it and gave us a whole 10 mins of drying time to make us happy. IT DIDN'T! Not only did we leave feeling ripped off after spending almost $40 but we still had two loads of soaking wet clothes. They lady knew we were pissed and just closed her office door and closed the shutters on her little window looking into the laundromat. How rude, i should have known This town screams shop local but most local shopping is a rippoff. There broke so were forced to pick up the slack. I'm sure this place will end up like there neigbors - Out of Business.
