Bishop Inspection, LLC Reviews

I answered an ad from Craigslist, looking for part-time property inspectors. I was promised enough work to keep me busy and enough to cover the amount I was looking for to make each month.

I was told I would get paid $4.50 per inspeciton for Tulsa and Wagoner County inspections, and $5.00 per inspection in Muskogee County.

The lady that originally hired me (Trish Youngquist), took me out for 4 hours and showed me the ropes. I thought easy enough. So I accepted her offer of only doing Broken Arrow and Coweta, OKlahoma. Then she offered me a ""trial"" run of the other areas which included the rest of Wagoner County and all of Muskogee County. I told her I would try it with the understanding that if I didn't like it or that it was not economical for me that I could just retain my original area.

After 1 run to the other areas, some of which were more than 65 miles one way from my home, and 12 hours for 18 inspections. I told her that I did not like it and was not interested. She then told me that I had to complete it and that if I didn't I would be charged $25.00 per inspection that I did not complete. Then she told me to find someone to take under me to do the work. She then offered to pay me more money per inspection. I told her that I did not want to do it and reminded her of our agreement.

After numerous unanswered emails and phone calls, I called Paul Bishop directedly and discussed what was going on. He said that he normally doesn't do it, but he wanted to take me directly under him and let me continue to work the areas that I had agreed to work. He said no problem he would find someone to work the other area, just give him a week or so. I said ok.

After a week, he still had not taken the other areas away from me and I called and discussed it with him. He got angry and told me that I had no choice but to cover all the areas or he would take everything away from me. I reminded him of our agreement and contract, and he hung up on me.

Then the emails came. He threatened to take away the remaining 90 inspections I had for Broken Arrow and not give me any more work. He also told me he would back charge me for the entire 120 inspections that included the other areas that I had not agreed to do.

Untilmately, he was wanting me to quit and I told him I wasn't going to quit and wanting to continue to do the work that I had guaranteed. That night he pulled all of the inspections from me and told me he was going to back charge me for all of the work that I was not allowed to complete.

Basically, the guy owes me $1,132.00 for completed inspections done in 2 weeks. He told me he wasn't going to pay me after I sent him the invoice and set the terms at net 10 days, because he broke our contract. He told me he wasn't going to pay me. I told him he had until May 9th to pay me and if he didn't I would go to court, file small claims and put a contractor's lein on him.

Today is May 1st, so I'm waiting to see what the guy does.

Please, take heed and do no get involved with these people. They are crooks.
