Due to privacy reasons and upcoming litigation I cannot discuss specifics however as a concerned citizen of Knoxville and the Powell community I wanted to get the word out about this pediatric group. Blackmon Pediatrics is the worst children's doctors in the area. I had heard mixed reviews about them prior to going some were good and some were shockingly awful however I just discard them as just a rare thing. I know in a service industry it is impossible to please everyone especially in a business that deals with the health of a child making emotions run high so regretfully I dismissed the negatives mainly because of the convenience of their location. However now I am 100% regretting that decision. If you are looking for a new doctor for your child/children or even possibly a newborn do yourself a favor and pick another one!! Read some of their reviews on various websites don't just take my word for it. This group is flirting with the line of malpractice among other sanctions. They do not listen to the concerns of the parents and strongly encourage the use of medications at all times. I would not be shocked to find out they are receive quite a bit of money from pharm reps to push the medications like they do. They are very judge mental and arrogant. Trust me you want to avoid them. I would put them in the categories of fraud and scam artists in the way they do not care about the children and see people as a number..
