It's a shame to do quality work and up hold y our end of a contractual agreement and receive no pay. But I guess this business doesn't care that they are tarnishing their reputation online and no one is going to want to work for them so here is the deal. I worked for this company reluctantly during the weekend of June 20 to June 22 of this year. I thought it was too good to be true when an associate of k une said we would make close yo a half a grand in one weekend. After a wweekend of disorderly and outright piss poor management and organization or lack thereof, Carmen, Mr. Barrett o's (The company owners faulty choice in an event manager, promised my assoiate we would be paid within two weeks of the end of the weekend. One week later, I contacted her about direct deposit and inability to attend her next event. The wench never responded. Two weeks after that and never receivi by a response OR CHECK, I contacted her by phone, she didn't answer and didn't kit return my message stating tha the if I didn't hear back I would be speaking to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU which I did. Nearly a week send a half later , STILL HADNT received a check (this past thursday) I get a mass text from her stating the person in charge of payment "dropped the ball and has been let go " and checks would be sent out that day. Yeah right ! The next day I get a call from "the corporate office" from some Jessica person, stating checks were sent out that day (this past Friday). When I told her Carmen had texted that the checks were already sent, she responded that I should take her word then. The wench who had already lied once, please ! Also, what company hires people who can't even coordinate pay roll ! And i still haven't received a check ! So here's the deal, I'm going to make a formal complaint to the BBC instead of a scam report and even after I'm paid, it's not coming down. The Company Needs To Hit THE Bricks . They were disorderly and discriminatory to all others who were not hespanuc, management is a joke, and they represent everything negative America represents to foreigners: gold glittering corrupt bronze wrapped in s***** toilet paper ...

Yes. I had taken a chance on this agency and really, if there is anything I lost, it would be on gas to get around to my events. I find it weird that before I did the event, their website was working and after I worked it, there website is "down for maintenance. I, too, now waiting for my check, have asked Jessica Roberts to cut me my check and I still have not seen it for a month, from this Tuesday. I believe it is very scammish and unlike many previous poster, I have specifics to back up this data. There comes a time when waiting patiently becomes enough.

Also, I do rebut the one positive comment that did say this agency was legitimate. It could be someone related to Jessica, who is trying to offset; however, I do not know. She did say she was from Chicago, so it could be someone from this agency. Anywho, I am still waiting for this check and if it does not show up, I will not rebut this complaint. If it does, I will definitely offset this review. Until then, I will be waiting!

I was hired by Blue Door Marketing on June 5, 2014 to promote a major client, Proctor & Gamble, for Taste of Mexico at Kroger stores in the Houston area. Blue Door Marketing promised to everyone that they hired for the Proctor & Gamble promotion that they would cut checks in one week, however, it took almost 30 days to get paid the money I was owed, which was completely unprofessional considering that people have bills to pay and some people wouldn't have worked this promotion if they knew that they weren't going to be paid in a week.

The payroll system with this company is corrupt. They will flat out lie to you and say things just to get you working for them and promise payment, only to have you sitting on your hands waiting for a paycheck. Blue Door Marketing hired me for a few different activations and have only paid me on two of them and still owe me money and are great at giving a run around when it comes time to pay the staff. Blue Door is a small company with 6 employees, however, that is no excuse whatsoever to not pay the staff on time. I will never work for this agency again.
