Subscribed to Bottarelli Research at the invitation of the website. Unfortunately, I clicked the "Auto-renew" box. However, after finding that I was not benefitting from this subscscription, I wanted to call this company and cancel my subscription by phone. However, there is no phone number listed on the website. But when I received my credit card statement, it listed the renewal charge for this service, but only then was a phone number listed: 630-305-7370, apparently located in Illinois, but no address was listed. When I called the phone number , I received no answer after 10-12 rings, but then a message came over the phone as "Memory is full--please enter remote access number" How would any suscriber know a remove access number????? I must now write this complaint to my credit card company. This does not show good faith on the part of Bottarelli Research.

Steer clear of Bryan Bottarelli and his bogus service. I have traded for many years and in all the time I have been trading I have been offered many trials all of which have been honoured. I am now convinced that when I received the email to unsubscribe so as to avoid being charged that the site is set up to take your money in any case, which is exactly what they did. Since I had the service, I decided to place some trades. His alleged profits are quite small in the first instance but what is even more worrying is that the prices quoted are fictitious. I know this for a fact as I was at my computer when the trades came through and shortly after on other occasions and after having done a search across no less than 5 markets I could find NO evidence that the trades ever achieved the prices quoted and moreover what he claimed to be profits were in fact losses.

I do not know what methodology he uses to trade as it is certainly not technical. I have read one review that said do the opposite of what he recommends and you will do ok. I would have to agree with that statement as it certainly was my experience.

I did attempt to get a refund and I was told that my executing 3 trades, all of which were losers was insufficient and in any event the most I could get back was about half and that is what they determine to be "pro-rata". They are rouges, without any ethics what so ever and will take your money and give you nothing in return but dud trades!

I have taken the action of cancelling my credit card. It is clear I have no chance of getting my money back and I would tell anyone who was interested in taking their service to think again. Be warned.

Possible scam

I was going to enroll in one of the more expensive Bottarelli Research programs when I began to look for a contact phone number and e-mail address in the event there was a problem. To my surprise there was no method of contacting the company in case I had a question. It has always been my opinion that if a company tries to stay hidden from their customers, they have a reason, which is usually an attempt to hide a scam or an unethical program. Glad I found this out before I sent my money.
