I have contacted the company twice (5-21-14 and 5-29-14) with no reply from them. My next step was reporting to the BBB. Here is what I said in my complaints:
"On 4-13-14, my son took his car in for a tire rotation. The techs convinced him that he needed an alignment. He waited 3 hours, but the actual time on the lift was brief. He left and didn't notice a difference. He was never given a print-out of the before/after specs, either.
While driving, the suspension came loose and was dragging on the road. Fortunately, another driver saw the sparks and alerted him. When we took it to a nearby repair shop, the ASE mechanic identified this as caused by a poor alignment procedure where the cam bolt was not tightened, and subsequently fell out. The alignment did not appear to be completely performed, either.
This error leads back to your service techs. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the potential was certainly there. There were enough sparks to cause an explosion!
I am extremely upset at this lack of professional service by your company. My son felt manipulated due to his age and it's apparent that we didn't receive a proper 4-wheel alignment as was promised.
He paid $137.00 for this service, and I want it refunded without incident. I await your timely reply."
The BBB follwed up on this and the company refused to offer any compensation or accept any responsibility.
I told them that I would make this incident public knowledge, so here we go....
If you are angry with your car and want to mutilate it ONLY THEN go to break check as they do have unqualified angry felons who can quickly kill your car and make it non-drivable.
