We did a new order for this company on 1/6/15 under the name of Broker Price Opinion. When we agreed to do order we ashed about their payment policy and were told payment would be processed within 30-45 days. Nothing in writing from rep. of company. We did order within time frame and have made numerous inquiries about payment and get a different story each time. First it is 2 weeks out, then 4 weeks out. In calling their accounts payable rep. today, they are now asking for something in writing where they said it would be 30-45 days. Really!!!! It has now been over 5 months and we are still getting the run around.
When I finally got an email address from the rep. I see that this is being run by First Valuation which I had a BBB complaint on in 2008 for non payment. They have the Realtors do the work, they get paid by their customer and the Realtor gets stiffed. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB and blogging on the MAR website to not do business with these people. They are only here to take advantage of people. Anyone with ties to REO.com and the other sites where banks and lenders get these people should make sure these facts are out there for lenders to see.

My company has yet to receive any payment for work completed that dates back to 9/10/2013. Currently, you owe me $1065.00 for work completed. There are reports totaling $750.00 that are at least 7 month 14 days in arrears or more. Im demanding immediate payment of $750.00, as you have had adequate time to collect from your client for this work. Ive done some research, and your company does have a track record of failing to pay brokers for work performed. Im giving you an opportunity to rectify this situation with me and my company before i have to turn to legal action. Rest assured, i will utilize the pre-paid legal services offered by my company to ensure full payment. Also be aware that im not going to wait for you to offer me a payment plan before taking action.
My discovery that you have been using my hard work and services for over a year and a half without paying be anything is a huge breach of trust. Broker Price Opinion contracted with me (I am a realtor) to perform visual/drive by appraisal services for homes being foreclosed in the Boise, Idaho, area. We agreed to $45 to $70 per appraisal. Between February and April of this year, I submitted 14 appraisals. My inquiries for payment have been met with rudeness and false promises. When I inquired again today, the person in accounting offices hung up on me. I contacted Better Business Bureau in Colorado but to no avail. They keep stonewalling and promising payment at 'later date'. They contact name they provided BBB is a cover. No one is ever available or they lie.
I provided 20- BPO/apprasial services between the October 2014 to November 2014. When I called to inquire about payment in November 2014 I was told it would be 90 days after the completion of services before I was to be paid. When 90 days came up in January I called and spoke to a supervisor by the name of Christine on January 22 who implied I would be paid when the 90 days are completed on January 27, 2015. I then called to inquire about the several payments pass due on February 11, 2015 and I was told by Christine that the company experienced "negative effects" that have delayed my payment unknown amount of time. Christine spoke to her supervisor, Sarah and stated she will follow up in approximately three additional weeks to see if they have an date to pay me. But stated she is unsure of when that date will be and that in approximately three more weeks she still be unsure. She stated the only way she knows when a payment is going out is when she receives an email from another department in the company to inform her of payment and knows nothing until then. Broker Price opinion requires BPOs completed in 24 to 48 hours yet take over four months to pay for that service. It is ridiculous. I have saved all email communications regarding the assignments and the agreed upon payment
This company owes my over $4000 in BPO work done for them since January 2014. Their promises are worth nothing. Then they took the reports I was working on and gave them to another agent with my work still there. This is clearly theft of service. Do not work for them! I have made many complaints and was promised a check would be cut on Friday. What Friday of wgat year and they would not tell me how much. I want to be paid for all the work I have been doing since Jan 24, 2014. I had faith in them to be paid on a timely and so nothing was done.

Never received payment for services rendered. I performed and had accepted close to 75 BPO's that were approved and submitted.
Have emailed many times to accounts payable since May 2014 about $3,000 past due. I have been sent $200 in that time.
I have been told countless times I am on a schedule for payment in full, this is far from a schedule.
I have offered settlement for payment but no response.
