I represented a buyer on the purchase of a Motor Yacht , made sure all the purchase process was done correctly and made things work with Selling Broker. I have represented buyers worldwide and specially international clients that have trust on my boating knowledge. Purchase funds were sent to Selling Broker and the transaction was closed. Selling broker then comunicated with me ( buyer agent) that there was no comission for me because buyer had indicated that if he got a reduced purchase price then he would pay the buyer agent direclty. buyer did not got the price reduction and buyer sent an email indicated that he would not be responsible because the reduction was not made. Selling broker did not pay buyer agent comission. Beware of cabrillo Yacht Sales .... They will cut you off the deal and keep your comissions. I would never trust to have any buyer deposit any funds into their account ever again.
