Bought a 2005 Ford F-150 4x4 that I found on EBay. The truck was described as very clean, everything worked, no accidents ect and when it was delivered it was no at all the truck I though I was purchasing! I was presented with a clean car fax and Chris (I assume) the owner told me that he was a very picky person and that this truck had no damage what so ever and that everything worked. I have reached out to Chris multiple times and he will not respond. DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY OR PERSON BECAUSE I WAS SCAMMED!!!!I now am stuck with the following to repairs (listed Below) when I thought I was buying an extreamly clean truck for $16,800 (This included a $750 delivery) EXTERIOR: Passenger Quarter Pannel was obviously repaired and a yellow color is apparent through the white paint. Is obvious this was painted and overspray is easily noticeable. Transmission makes a load thump nose when first accelerating. I need to bring the truck to a transmission place to see if it a u joint, transmission adjustment( I can only hope) or potentially in need of a new transmission! Overspray can be felt all over the paint on the passenger side I assume from not properly covering the truck when the passenger back quarter Pannel was painted Rear passenger side back light is cracked INTERIOR: Truck was not clean with the exception of the carpets. I had to detail the truck for 4 hours because I was embarrassed to show my son his new truck I bought for him. Cigarette compartment Wood grained plastic Pannel was on the floor because the glue gave away. This compartment does not open or close and needs repair. The Pannel was grossly glued with Gorilla (yellow) Glue in a very sloppy way. The overhead sunglasses compartment latch is broken and there was a attempt to glue this as well but did not work. This overhead compartment needs to be replaced and in the mean time I had to use superglue it shut just to keep the compartment from falling open. If you could see the glue job on this broken latch that failed, you would think a 2 year old did it.. Not a care in the world to be neat in anyway! I was told all of the speakers worked and the front drivers side door speaker does not work. I imagine it needs replacement but not sure until I investigate. Passenger side electric window switch is bad. The window goes down but not up but fortunately the drivers side switch can put up the passenger side window! I just got the truck 2 days ago and I'm sure I will find more issues/unexpected expenses that I have missed. I have call Chris and texted him multiple times and he won't even respond. Once he got his wired funds.... He was MIA so I can only hope you read my post if you are considering purchasing a auto or truck from Car Cafe LLC. DONT BUY FROM THEM!
