I am totallt disappointed with the CarMax and it's staff here in Memphis,TN. After selecting a car and waiting for title information for 2 weeks. The car was taken off of hold 2xs and then on the day I go to pick it up, it is sitting on a truck to be transfered to Jackson, MS.
Then after selecting another car, getting financed and having the car for 2 weeks, I get a call from one of the credit managers that I've got to bring it back because I had not been on my job long enough. Now this is was a CarMax rule they made wit the finance company. However, the finance company did not have any requirements when it came to job length. CarMax did not try to rectify the situation by financing me in house or to find another lender that would accept my job history even though I had the income.
Totally disappointed in their management and handling of this issue. It's embarrasing and a waste of my time and identity.
Had some warranty work done at carmax , they claim they used new parts but did not .. the car had a list of about 50 problems after I bought it and drove off the lot .. So it was never inspected by them either .. Keep your money buy from an individual and save the headaches ..because they will just refuse to fix .
