Cash For Laptops Reviews

Cash for laptops completley ripped me off. I was quoted that sending in my iPad could give me up to $280. After sending in my brand new never opened iPad I got a got a check for $45. When I called to get things strightened up, they began to tell me it was used and had light ware and tear on it. I knew this was a lie due to the fact that it had never been opened before with the plactic wrap still on it.

The first time I called to complain I was told I would get a call back after they looked into it. They never called back

After calling again a week later, they refused to send the device back to me due to the fact that they calimed they no longer had it. They said they would give me an extra $55 cause even they knew how bad I was getting ripped off but refused to give me any more. I had no other choice due to the fact they wouldn't send it back. DO NOT SEND YOUR DEVICE TO THESE CROOKS

My first mistake was, not getting through the online reviews

My first mistake was, not getting through the online reviews. I was quoted $300 for my perfect Acer laptop. After they got my device, I was told that my laptop was not in that much good condition what I claimed it was. Then the next-day, I got message from PayPal that $100 was deposited in my account. I immediately called and talked to an idiot that told me the laptop price severely depreciated since last week. I demanded my laptop back and then he offered me $180. After long discussion, we both agreed at $200. I received $100 in my PayPal after 2 weeks. We need to figure out a way to stop these predators from ripping people off.

Don't use this fraud company. Trade it into Amazon or other trading places

Total Scam! I was quoted $180 for a new, hardly used Windows 7 HP laptop. My sister only used it a few weeks. I got only $65 through PayPal. I am very upset. Don't use this fraud company. Trade it into Amazon or other trading places. This company gave me a really tough time.

I sent in 3 iPhone 5s, one 64g and two 16G. On cash for laptops.com, they miss quoted on all 3 and sent me a new quote through an email. When I called them, I was asked to wait until they received all phones and now they tell me they can't send them back.

I got a quote back for $126 dollars for all 3 phones.

I recently bought an iPhone 6. Both AT&T and Gazelle offered me $70 and $86 respectively. Since my phone was in excellent condition, I decided to go with "Cash for Laptops" online offer of $113. I received an email a week later that they would pay me $13 for my phone. I immediately sent a email that this was unacceptable. Their response was sending me a phone number to speak with a representative. Getting through was next to impossible- if you are on hold for more than 7 minutes, the system hangs up on you. It took me over a week to reach a person who basically said that there was nothing I could do. They mentioned that my iPhone 4s was now worth even less on the market. I did receive my check for $13. If I had used Gazelle or AT&T three weeks ago I would have received at least $70. BEWARE of this company! Unbelievable that they can get away with this!!!!

Offered $143 for IPhone 4s 16g. Phone was barely used and in new condition. Went on website, registered and they sent me a box. I entered my email address. The website said they would send me an email when they received my phone and they another with a real estimate once they inspected it. Since it was in brand new condition I assumed it would be approx. $143, maybe $130. I got the first email and waited for the 2nd. When I did not get the estimate I called them and was told they tried to PayPal me $10.

They did not have my PayPal ID! They told me the phone was damaged by water. NO WAY!! I reset this phone before I sent it out. It was perfect. I asked for the phone back and was told it was too late. The offered an additional $20. I refused and was told I had no choice. the said the sent out the estimate email and the fact I didn't get it was not their problem. I asked for them to forward the email to me so I can see it and they refused. "Take the $30 or nothing!"

I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that was impossible. They are very good at this!! When I realized I had no recourse, I agreed to the $30 after 20 minutes of a heated argument. Melanie, the very well trained scamster, said "this call had been recorded and you agreed."

Nevada is a dual consent State. The cannot record me without notifying me and me consenting. This is a scam and a ripoff business. Stay clear. I will continue to tell this story till they are out of business.
