I was lookng for a short term loan or payday advance and this company offered a $2000 unsecured loan, but required the first payment up front due to it being unsecured. I got the green dot card & provided it to them. Other said the loan would be deposited in 30 minute. When an hour had passed & I still didn't have the funds, I called them back & was told my state required the taxes to be paid upfront, so I got another green dot card. Then it was an addl $160 for an addl $500 on the loan, so I got another green dot. When I told my daughter what I was doing, she flipped & told me to get my $ back if I could. The police, FBI & federal trade comission won't do anything to help. They said the $ had gone overseas & it would be impossible to get the monies returned. I'm on a fixed income & needed car repairs done. Now I'm broke & without transportation. These people should be held accountable.
This company does not list a physical address or phone number. The same thing happened to me yesterday. I was contacted by a lady (Thelona) on my home phone. I responded back. Then I worked with a guy (Sam Wilson) that asked my to use Money Pack. I sent $210.00, expecting $2,000.00 in 40 minutes. I went home thinking it would work. The lady even when calling used the term (Have a Blessed Day) I was suspicious, but I went the 1st step. The so called Manager called me back and asked for another $300.00.
I blew up. How do these companies exist having access to finincial data, scam people and face no punishment? I told the Manager that I was going to look into his company with the BBB. He told me that his company was registered with BBB. Not TRUE!! It's not on their website. That's something that you showcase on the first page. He pleaded with me not to inquire. Too Late!! This company is well hidden, with no reviews or complaints at first glance. You have to really dig for the information. The phone numbers are out of Reno NV.
