My partner and I moved into our own home in June, 2015 and were strapped for cash.

I did an internet search on quick pay day loans and Castle Pay Day was one of the listings.

I am Native American and was impressed that they were sponsored by the Red Rock Tribe.

I took out a loan for $600 and the money was deposited into my checking account in a few

days. I was told that my interest payment would be $210 for a total of $810. I was told that

the $210 finance charge would be automatically debited from my checking account on my pay

day leaving three payments of $200 each to repay the prinicpal loan amount.

I have made three payments of $210 each for a total of $630. So I should only owe $180.

I called to verify this amount and the woman who answered the phone told me I have 25

payments of $210 each left... Excuse me!? That's $5,250 in interest for a $600 loan. That is

insanity! She even asked me to increase my payment amount to bring the loan down.

I asked to speak to a manager and she put me on hold for a couple of minutes. Came back to

check on me and put me back on hold.

I hung up and immediately called my bank for further instructions.

I made the biggest mistake of my life, by taking a 400.00 loan with this company. It is my fault for not paying attention to the details. The finance charge is 280.00 per month, in order to get out of the loan I have to pay s lump sum of 680.00, there is no pay it down method. I feel like such a fool. I should have checked here before taking a loan. Hopefully I can pay them off next month and get of this rip off ride.

I will never use this company again. I urge you with my utmost being that you never use this company. I set up what I thought was a payment plan for my emergency loan of 200 dollars with every paycheck. I am now out of almost 400 because this company was deceitful. Apparently somewhere in their paperwork this was only paying the finance charge. With emails that I have it never stated that this was ONLY PAYING the FINANCE charge. When I asked about it, they weren't able to give me a place where I could find this in writing. Please do not be scammed like I was. I have set up a payment plan and I will now only be out of pocket an extra 1000 dollars. NOT WORTH the headached. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY.

These people are theives and liers. DO NOT TAKE A LOAN FROM THEM!!!!! I borrowed $600 from them in January. The way they set it up was that I would pay 200 a month and the interest would be $200. That was high but was in a pinch at the time. So in 4 months the loan would be paid in full. IT WAS A LIE!!. I called today to confirm that the loan was paid and she said I still owed $600. They try to take 2 payments a mounth out of you constantly, which I paid early this month and today. 4 months of giving them $200 a month and twice this month wasnt even paying the loan off. They claim thats the finance fee. So in the last 4 months ive just been giving them 200 dollars a month. This is a scammer big time and should be shut down. Do not take loans from them, they are the scum bag liers. It cost me 1600 dollars in total to borrow 600 dollars. Dont get screwed like I did. If you have been already continue to find websites like this and report them. I payed the loan off today which cost 800 dollars and im closing the bank account that they were taking it out of. She also claimed she couldnt give a confirmation number and the email system was down so I should get it in the morning. I dont like which is why im closing the bank account as soon as I see it go through. DO NOT TAKE A LOAN FROM THEM NO MATTER WHAT!!!!

I borrowed $600.00 from Castle Payday Loans in February. I called today to pay them off and was told my payoff amount was $1900.00. I was never showed what the finance charge would be but just thought it would be the usual amount for a payday loan. That is a little ridiculous to pay $1900.00 for a $600.00 loan. I offered to pay off this loan, but at a lower amount. They refused. That wanted to set it up on a 4 month or 6 month loan instead, but it still came out to $1900.00. They are crazy and I told them so.

I don't know what to do about this. If you have any suggestion, please let me know. I am on a fixed monthly income and can't pay a huge amount. I appreciate any help you can give me.

I borrowed $1000.00 from this company they first printed up a paper that said my interest would be $700.00 then I printed up my loan agreement which I have that said now my finance interest would be $10,000.00 and that they would be pulling out $700.00 from my account instead of $350.00. I have been contacted by a company NSFF that does not exsist and a phone number they leave is not a phone number that you can call them back. I stopped the auto withdrawals. I wrote to the company which they call Red Rock Tribal Lending and when I put in Castlepay Loans in the Better Business Bureau they say there is no such company. They have a p.o box 704 in Watersmeet, Mi. I wrote to this company and never got a return letter. Something should be done about these companies that do illegal loan's. Like the others I needed the money to move and I had no choice but to borrow this money. I have other pay day loans and I paid them back but not like this company who is a big repoff.

Do not EVER reduce yourself to utilizing this company for a loan - call a relative, sell personal items, or donate plasma if you have to! But Castle Payday should not even be a very last resort.

These people are legalized CROOKS who do not fully explain - even when explicitly asked - the outrageous interest conditions attached to their loans.

I needed cash fast to pay a utility bill, and requested $400. Even though I repeatedly asked "what is the full amount I will be paying back?" this question was not answered completely or truthfully. The response was "if you make some small payment on your principal your loan will be repaid more quickly" Duh.

2 weeks after receiving the funds, a first deduction from my account of $140 was made. Then another. And another. I called to request the payoff amount, only to be given the shock that there were still another 17 payments of $140 to be made - all for a GRAND TOTAL of $2800 interest on a $400 loan, thus bringing my total amount to repay to $3200. And this is LEGAL??!?

I made my $540 pay-off payment immediately the next day.

My only hope is that this message will be wide and far-reaching and that people will do their homework and inquire about this company, and RUN the other way, as I should have done. I would shout it from the rooftops for months to come if I could - hopefully the Internet will do a good job of that for me.

On May 8, 2014, I got approved for a loan with Castle Pay Day for $500 and it was in my account by the 12th. When I got approved for the loan and was talking to the man who set it up for me (he said his name was Joey), he said that my loan had a $250 finance charge making my amount owed $750. I opted for the drafted payment from my bank account and, instead of $50 amounts, I agreed to $250 at a time to get the loan paid off faster. Because I work and go to school full time and would have a hard time calling back during your business hours, he told me that he would set up the payment plan that evening for the three payments of $250. The first $250 was taken out of my account on May 30, then on July 1 and the third (what I thought was the last) on August 1. Additional payments of $250 were taken out on August 29 and again on October 1. I tried to call in and ask why when my loan had been paid off but to no avail, the phone kept ringing or would get disconnected altogether.

on October 31 the amount coming out of my account was bumped up to $300 and, when I got online, I saw that a new loan for $450 has been applied to my account with a new finance charge of $225 for a new total of $675. Considering how much money has already been taken out of my account (as of October 31 the total is $1550!!) I am not sure how this company can say that I still owe than money. On top of that, a new loan with new dates and amounts due had been posted with my prior loan from May no longer visible. the woman I talked to tried to say that this new information was for the old loan that has been rolled over (this is illegal) and even if this is true, why would the amount being taken from me change? Why would the prior loan information no longer be visible if they get filed under "my account"? What I would like to see happen here is to have the excess $800 returned to me and have this new loan taken off of my account. I do not appreciate being taken advantage of by your company. I don’t want to but I am ready to take legal action if the money that your company has stolen from me is not returned.

My complaint is different from many others concerning Castle Payday Loans. After several loans with this company, each one being paid as agreed to under the loan terms, they suddenly deined me a new loan. I waited the required "cooling off Days" between the previous loan and the new application. They offer returning "good" customers a VIP Status, so they say, which includes higher amounts available to borrow and better interest rates. I believe I was denied because I reached the point of qualifing for VIP deals. It appears that they just do not want to honor giving out larger amounts at better rates. I seem to have wasted my time working at building what I thought was a good relationship with Castle Payday Loans. INot one thing had changed in my profile/records with them, except that my income had in creased by an amount near $356 when I was denied a new loan. Do not waste your time attempting to gain any favor from being a repaet customer with these people.

In April 2014 I ran a little short of money to attend the funeral of a loved one in Michigan. Eventually, I contacted Castle Pay via their webpage www.castlepayday.com and did an online application for $1,000.00. I was approved and the money deposited into my bank on 24 April 2014. Nevertheless, I though this was great financial blessing, beacuse not only were my wife and I able to attend the funeral, we were also in a position to help contribute to the burial expenses.

And here we are on 30 August 2014 with Castle Pay still trying to collect an additional $380.00. Ironically this is the same dollar amount they indicated was my balance on 9 July 2014. Since 9 July 2014 I have made 3 payments totaling $570.00.

I beleive enough is enough. Therfore on today (30 August 2014) I setup a stop payment order with my bank to not allow any further ACH transactions for Castle Pay.

'Come On Man'! I believe in paying all the fair and honest debt I acquire, but I don't belive Castle Pay is an honest player in the loan business.

Since May 2014 I have paid Castle Pay $1,620.00 on a loan amount of $1000.00. Is this highway robbery or what?
