Cell Phone Hospital Repair Center Reviews

  • Apr 30, 2015

Shame on me for not doing my homework and searching for reviews on this shady business. The first red flag I failed to notice upon entering this place was the unprofessionally printed sign that states "Cash or Debit Only". The bigger red flag is the sign next to it that states "No Refunds Please!" Please? Unbelievable lol! "No Refunds Please" translates to - " HA HA HA! You're stuck with our sh*tty service!" I've already been in twice because they still haven't fixed my phone right. I went in with a cracked screen and came out with my phone in worse condition then it was before I brought it to them. There was some kind of liquid underneath the screen when they gave it back to me along with a weird bubble in the upper left corner. It's like they're not bothering to clean and dry their hands before working on your phone. And this salesperson named CAMERON kept feeding me a bunch of BS every time I tried to talk. On my first visit I had to wait 30 min. On the second visit I was told the wait would be an hour and a half because there was a line. After the long wait, I got the phone back and noticed there was still liquid under the screen. Normally when you clean the screen on your phone you'll see nothing but a shiny black surface. After cleaning my screen, after getting it back the second time, I could still see residue from the original puddle of liquid under my screen as well as what appeared to be scratches. So after the first visit I only had the liquid puddle to look at and the weird bubble in the upper left corner. After the second visit the puddle was smaller but still obvious, weird bubble in the upper left corner and now scratches all over the screen on the inside. You know that if they were fixing their own phone it would be perfect. Just remember this - once they have your money, they no longer have your best interests in mind. Oh and the salesperson named CAMERON offered to "fix it right" a third time. Suggesting that I come back as early as possible when they open around 10:00 a.m. so that they could send my phone to a specialist to have the screen "glued" and resolve the issue. I asked if this was going to cost more money and he replied, "normally we charge for this but I won't charge you" Wow! I must be special for them to be so gracious! Never mind the fact that they could have just saved me a lot of trouble by fixing it right the first time. The only thing I'm thankful for is the fact that I haggled with the original salesperson to get the repair and an Otterbox for $85.00 not including tax. I was stupid for going back a second time and getting it back in worse shape then the first visit. But of course, I wanted my money's worth from a place that offers "No Refunds Please." I can't imagine how bad the condition will be if I dare go back a third time. I'm just going to keep telling myself that the Otterbox is worth $85.00 and find a professional to fix my phone properly after first reading the reviews.
