This company is a scam. They are in the business of making quick money off of young/inexperienced business owners/entrepreneurs trying to get funding for their start ups. They will first sucker you into paying there $99 fee for the meeting with the underwriter. They will tell you that you should have absolutely no issues getting a loan, and they do not provide any information for how to prepare for the meeting. Because there are things that you have to have in place to start or the underwriting meeting will be a complete waste of TIME. After the underwriter meeting is complete, if you were not able to finish, because of certain questions you needed answers for (by the company/franchise your buying into, etc.) they will leave you hang out to dry. They will not contact you, not even ONCE, to follow up on your situation/progress. Then most likely things change and you decide to take a different direction with how to secure your funding (which i did). They then keep charging my credit card for access to what they call their dashboard. I had not idea what this was, I did NOT have an account set up on their website or anything of the sort. I would not even know how to access this things if i tried. Because I had only had two BRIEF phone conversations with people at this company that did not NO GOOD and it ended up costing me well over $100. It was the biggest scam, waste of time and energy. I then tried to get a refund on the dashboard access charge the second I seen it on my bank statement and they would not grant a refund. And let me add that they WILL NEVER ISSUE A REFUND FOR ANYTHING. Even if you never used the service and it was at the very beginning of that months paid for use. They are in the business of making QUICK MONEY and have absolutely no customer service/customer comes first/keep customers happy mentality. AT ALL! Please stay clear of this company. There are much better sources for finding funds to start your business. Do your due diligence. :)
This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. They treat you very well until the very minute that the three days for refund have passed. They give you 3 days to cancel but schedule your consultation to take place after 5 days for which you can no longer cancel, what a scam. Once that period is over, they treat you such nonprofessional. You are transferred from one person to the next and at the end of the day, you don't get a loan nor a refund. What a great scam and easy way for them to make $2,000.00.
Trevor and Colter are two of the worst people I have ever dealt with and would never recommend this company to anyone, but I will however be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, they are making a habit out of scamming people who need a loan and must be stopped.
Central Business Funding is only a scam company. They took the application fee and stated if I cancelled before midnight on the 3rd day I could have a refund. They take the money and book an appointment on the 3rd day once I realized they were going to ask for more money i told the guy no and requested a refund immediately via email and I went to post office and sent certified mail request post marked before midnight as in the cotract. The letter was attempted to be delivered but the office was closed. the post office left a note and the company still is not picking it up. I even emailed them a copy of my certified receipt with date and the fact that the post office wrote them a note. No response. $249.00 application fee I am owed.
I was promised a loan by Central Business Funding to start up a business, after paying them $2,249.00, which they took immediately. All i got was no answered emails, and excuses as to why I couldn't get a loan. Then they refused to get back to me, after waiting for a month after they told me they would call me that afternoon or the next day, they decided to completely ignore me and send me to talk to Trevor. He is completely useless and makes up the most lame excuses for not refunding the money. the guy is a true low life and hopefully someday he is in need of a loan and gets played the same way he plays people, unfortunately for him what goes around comes around.
My husband and I have owned and operated a trucking company for 18 years when he lost his eye to melanoma and could no longer maintain his CDL to drive the truck. We called upon these people to acquire a loan to purchase another type of business that did not require a CDL license. From December 2014 to February 2015 we jumped through all their hoops and spent $2,100.00 on getting this loan they stated would be no problem. In the end it all boils down to the fact that they can't provide the services they claim to provide. They work up a business plan, then get you to join Dunn & Bradstreet for a credit reference on a business that doesn't even exist yet, then they have you join credit reporting agencies to get your credit reports. Once they have those, they turn your account over to funding department that will look into lenders for you. There are no lenders out there, not even with a credit score over 750. By this time your opportunity to opt out of this scam has long time passed to get any of your money back. All you can do is let them know in writing that you are no longer interested and thanks for nothing. The good news is, my husband did get to renew his CDL and we are still in the trucking business. Always remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
This company is a scam and should be put out of business. I don't know how they sleep at night. You have to have money to get a loan out of this company and if you have money you don't need their help getting a loan, so, long story short, go to your local bank. They don't charge a $2,000.00 consulting fee.
Central Business Funding is a SCAM! If you do business with this company be prepared to be ripped off out of your money. They misrepresent their services and they get away with it. Trevor, the business owner, likes to rebut the complaints by attacking his clients. I was even told that he did not have time to go over all these complaints with me because he had a million dollar company to run. He is very unprofessional and rude individual.
We were looking for a small business loan for our company. We knew our credit score was not the best. So we came across the company called Central Business Funding to get help with funding our business. First they told us there was a fee of $249.00 for a risk assessment. We paid the fee on Jan 13, 2014. Alter we paid that fee they got our credit reports and we were told they absolutely could work with us. But, to move forward we had to pay another $2,000.00 and that money would go towards the success fee of the 2% borrowed. We paid that fee on Jan 27, 2014.
We have provided them with all the information they needed to get our loan package ready and submitted to multiple lenders their said their company works with. We were promised we would get funded in 30 days. The only reason it might take longer was if we would not have everything they needed at that time. After a few months going back and forth with them they finally decided to connect us with their so called loan specialist who was supposed to present our loan package to their lenders. A month later she contacted us saying the lenders refused talking to her because she was the third party so we needed to do it ourselves. She emailed the name of the lender to us along with their contact information. The questions I had was why did I hire you and why did I pay my money for?
After talking to Trevor I was informed that there was some miscommunication and their company do not provided all these services they list on their website and servicers we paid for. I was told they were just consulting and credit repair services. This company has done nothing for what we paid them for.
All this process from the very beginning until now is a straight lie and a scam. This problem should and will be resolved.

I came to Central Business Funding looking for a loan for a start up business. I knew very little about getting funding for a business and setting up the business. They were terrific for me. I paid $99 to have them give me a Risk Assessment. Once I got the assessment I knew what was wrong with my loan file and knew what to work on. I didn't pay anything else to them and they gave me help with cleaning up my credit. It went from the low 500s to the mid 600s. I was sent to their loan officer and she got me a loan after only 33 days. It wasn't exactly the amount I was looking for but it got me started in the right direction! I would recommend them to all my friends!
Business central funding is a scam they claim to have called you or they couldn't reach you once they have your money. I sent this company $1,500 to get funding which I have a document showing that with in 30 Day's funds will be available. April 2015 they received $1,350 and then I was told that a person named Paula would be in contact with me in a day or so once that didn't happen I called back and spoke with Megan Flickinger who said O she didn't email you I said No By the Paula contacts everyone by email. She did email me saying I'm going to need this and that in which they had all documents that were required to move per Megan . April pass by Paula the person who finds the funding emails me in may saying well we need someone with strong credit I said ok maybe my brother but the I thought about it for a second I'm not going to do that. Spoke with Paula again asking what about the business credit your company says that they have established for me. Now she has no clue what I'm talking about so the file is there they receive $99 plus $1,350 . No contact since may no one will return my calls or emails Until 7/ 8/2015 I reached a Traver who tried to blow smoke up my for pointed contact I'm here for you then he tried to give me a song and dance. Lesson learned.
Trevor is an asshole who pushes you to pay up. I didn't get the services I was promised. Now they are on my credit report for scamming me.
How do I remove them from my credit report when I was the one scammed????
DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. They will tell you over the phone that your should have no problems with getting a loan (no matter your situation) and I myself have an excellent credit score (743 to be exact). But they will sucker you in to the $99 for the underwriter assessment. And then keep charging every month for the access to there dashboard. Which I never used. Don't try to getting funding here. There are better companies out there.
