So our 3 men company Jailliacy Electric got hired by Certified of New York to do some work for the tune $575,000 back in 2013. Now that job came as a God sent because my husband broke his back in 2012 and we were struggling with too many medical bills and not enough money. So we really wanted to out perform this work for Certified of New York. Certified is a big company we thought it was a good company to work with.

We received a Notice to Proceed which means you start work and contracts and payments follow swiftly. We started work and after a month there was still NO CONTRACT OR MONEY. Of course we get on the phone and try to find out what is happening to our money because after all, we are spending money on their contract job. We were strung along by Craig Eisschen for about 7 weeks before our contract came in the email. To our surprise we saw that the contract value was only $296,641!!!!!!
At this time we have already $250k in the job, right?!! So we were told that the contract was what it is: take it or leave it. What do you do? No money, our credit line for electrical supplies was maxed out and Certified of New York didn’t give a s*** about it.
So Certified of New York rips us off for $250,000. They never paid us. But kept our work and material and did get paid for that!!
I come to find out that this is what do regularly. End contracts for convenience when the work is almost done but of course not paid for so they keep your money. I wonder how these guys sleep and face their wifes and kids......
Of course we keep calling and then we receive warnings that “ we’ll get to your kids” and “ you better keep looking behind you “ and “ we know where you live and we will burn your house down” and so on.
So Certified of New York are thieves and thugs.
Craig Eisschen and Michael Borricco who apparently is the owner and other dirt bags just scream and yell at you. In fact, screaming and yelling is something they all do and not alone that, they swear profusely as well.
Added to that, when we were still on the job, we saw these guys screw owners as well. They tell the subs to cut corners, don’t pay for work and give the owner an inferior product.
The phrase typically used by these guys at CNY is “shove it up their a*s”...Nice ah?
We went bankrupt because of this. $250k is a LOT of money for us and Craig Eisschen assured us that we would be paid. Now if you need a sweet talker, this is your guy!
Of course we have tried to talk to them but the last thing they told us is “ Go sue us!
