Coastal Pay is the wrost company, back in Oct/14 one of his rep came into my store and he told me that if we signed with them I will save money and they will take care of the cancellation fee with my actual credit card processor. I called before the month end to cancel the service because they were charging me something they didn't mentioned on the contract I called them to cancel it (you supposed to have 1 month to cancel) and they said if I do it I had to pay $2,500. This cruck company never cancel the agreement with the other card processing, and that was the deal at the begining so I got bills from 2 companies for more than 6 months; at the end they played smart and paid nothing. The other credit card company charged me $1450 because of them. Coastal pay president called once, everytime I called him, they said he was in a meeting or he wasn't in the office. shame of him President of what? He do nothing! First data and Coastal pay are ripoff, Beware of this company, don't sign any document they're killing my business, they take advantage of small business like me. We have to spread this message.

Be Prepared to be lied to

If you peruse others experience with this company, well, my experience is ditto. Lies and more lies. I would have NEVER signed a four agreement with service/equipment (as I have been burned by this before) if I had not been told that if "they couldn't save me money the agreement was null and void." I was also lied to about how equipment was handled. I am now in a 4 year 'noncancellable' contract with as it turns out the same leasing company that has screwed me before. The account executive that sold me took about 6 hours over the course of 2 days to get me sign the contract. He plays this role of ex-military, paratrooper with the utmost unquestionable ethics. GAG!!! LIES!!!!!!!! It also included a phone conversation with Travis, the company president, which confirmed all that I told by the representative.Shame on this company. I don't care what I have to do to get out of this including changing banks. Bad company, dishonest business practices.

I was contacted by coastal pay about a rate review for my card processing to see if they could offer me something better than my current processor. I agreed to havve the rep come out and show me what they had to offer. From there it has been nothing but downhill. The representativ came out, pitched what they had and after consulting with my business partner we both agreed that we were not interested, however, the sales rep refused to accept no for an answer. After saying no 10 times, and having the rep in my shop for almost 10 hours i finally said yes out of duress and distressso i could close my shop and go home What do you do when the rep has a concealed carry and is between you and the exit?) as part ofthe agreement made, if coastal pay was unable to consistently save me money i would be able to cancel at no cost. After receiving a rate review from my current processing company, coastal pay was not going to save me money. I have attempted to cancel as per this agreement but have not been able to have a civil conversation with the company. As the previous complaint mentions this company uses manipulation, pressure, and extortion tactics to preyon small businesses. The president of the company today (6-16-15) refused to cancel and hung up on me. After contacting first data of which coastal pay is an iso of, they reached out to coastalpay and the president of the comapany claimed to them that he didn't refuse to cancel, and said he would cancel my account but i would be billed 495$ for early termination On an account i said no to in the first place, for nothing but a mobile swiper), this being in violation of the agreement as we were able to verify that they were not going to save me money. The president of coastal pay has argued otherwise and will not provide a resolution. Also i was billed 3 times over the course of three weeks. At this point i would simply like refunded for the charges of a product i had no interest in and have not used, and my contract terminated as per our agreement.

If the person who wrote the other complaint sees this, if i cannot get this issue resolved i would be interested in joining you in taking legal action against this company.

Everything everyone has said here is my experience, as well. YES!!!! I WOULD JOIN YOU IN A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THIS COMPANY!!!!
