Found coffee Vending business through franchise Direct. I inquired about the vending machine business due to the low startup cost. received a phone call from ryan regarding the vending machine business. He asked me for the city and state i live in, he told me he had 7 locations in my area available waiting for immediate delivery. He askd me which one of the 7 areas i would like, i gave him the area and he gave me the name of the company and the address, because i was very familar with the company and location, i got excited and told him yes i would like that location, he told me they wanted to machines.
he claimed that i need to decide immediately because there was another lady who was a nurse was interested and she was planning to contact him at the end of the day. he told me that each one of the machines would make 1700 a month, so that sounds great being that I know the company well and thery have over 3000 employees. he asked for a desposit to secure the location, so i gave him 1000.00 down. the nxt day he asked when would i have the balance, so i told him within a week. i paid the balance the following week after i talked to a person that he gave me to talk to for a reference, i tolded to the person for 1 hour discussing the busness, so everything looks good, i can buy and machine a get a location, i can get up and running this business immediately.
Ryan supposely had setup me an appointment for that thursday 3:00pm, he said he would send me the contact information with the instructions. as soon as i contact him to follow up on the appointment, rayan calls and said the person needed to reschedule, and guess what, that person keep rescheduling until i never got a to meet this person. all that to say, he nevered had that location. inaddition to that, the guy to show to my house to train me on the machine, never showed up. I later received an email with pdf files from the machine supplier on how to use the machine. this really sucks. I have two machines and still do not have a location, it has been over 6 months now.
ryan does not return you calls or answer your email. He ignors you after he gets his money. you receive the product but you are stuck with the machine and he does not give you the location he claims is available. You pay 300.00 location fee which he hires a company to locate a site. guess what you have to take whatever location the guy sends you or you loose out. he doe snot give you any marketing materials or brochures to do your marketing to get your machines in a location.
ryan is selling these machine with false advertisement of locations. once you receive the machines you can not return them, pay close attention to yor contract before signing.
