I purchased a part from columbia used auto parts, inc that I was not allowed to inspect or see until full payment was made. So I purchased a rear brake caliper for my 2008 ford taurus that was deemed to be defective by an ase certified machanic so I had to buy a new one. Upon the purchace of the part from columbia used auto parts I was told if the part was defective they would refund my money if I have receipt and its within 30 days. purchased on 03/26/2015 and attempted to get refund on 03/31/2015 but was told no refunds. It states on the receipt refunds would be issued it part is defective. They knowingly sell defective auto parts telling consumer refunds would be issued if parts are found to be defective and then once they are tell you all sales are final and no refunds will be issued when it clearly states reunds issued for that very reason within 30 days. It was also reported that alot of the automotive parts are stolen and from local chop shops in that area. It was also reported that money laundering was a big part of that business and they impose intimadation pratices.
