A company filed a false complaint, and the Business Consumer Alliance flooded me with deceptive emails, representing themselves as the Better Business Bureau. The emails were loaded with phishing links, and they came from different offices in California. All the agents on the phone were demanding that I pay them in order to have negative posts removed. I recognized extorsion, and did not pay. I saw that they had been recently exposed by ABC News, but they were still a part of the Better Business Bureau.

After dozens of hours on the phone, I could never reach Kiry Peng, the CEO, nor anybody at the management level. The folks I did talk to did not seem to grasp the importance of accuracy, and seemed to enjoy using the power of slander to shake companies down. Nothing was done to remove negative posts on their Web site.

I called the Business Consumer Alliance in December 2014, and let them know I would be filing a law suit against them. A few days later, the reports were removed from the Business Consumer Alliance page, but not the "1" mark, indicating I refused to offer a refund - when my offer was made public to the BCA!

I called this week and complained about the "1" mark, and spoke to a representative for over 30 minutes, and she said, "you've got a four star rating.." and would not discuss the "1" mark. I asked for a manager, and waited on hold quite a while. Finally, a woman named, "Elizabeth" came to the phone, told me I could not talk to management, that I was "abusive" and she hung up.

Soon, the reports that were previously removed were fully restored on their site. Elizabether and Kiry were obviously sending me a message; to irritate the Business Consumer Alliance with such matters as accuracy, results in the Business Consumer Alliance taking even more action to slime the targeted company.

Kiry Peng President/CEO of the Business Consumer Alliance, was probably involved in the decision to retaliate against our company, since he will probably have to explain this particular action to the news media and the courts.

We now have evidence of dishonesty, and a vendetta philosophy at the Business Consumer Alliance, and will seek the support of other victims, and the business community at large.

What choice do I have but to sue the Business Consumer Alliance for extortion, slander and harassment? I'll be posting progress on this as events unfold. I am hoping that this will result in Kiry Peng's arrest and prosecution, for actions that are consistent with racketeering; we believe that the Business Consumer Alliance is guilty of RICO violations.

I spent over 40 minutes trying to reason with Since the investigation by small businesses (prior to the ABC investigation) included other victims, I will now join with the growing chorus of Californians who believe that there is no place for the Business Consumer Alliance in the United States.

We that the hundreds who have seen our posts and sent us support and love, and we look forward to bring this matter to authorities, and seeking damages to our company, as a result of the reckless and derogatory manor in which complaints are publicized, the predatory fashion in which companies are flooded with extortion email, phone calls from more than one office of the Business Consumer Alliance.
