Credit One, LLC Reviews

Received an email Accepting Applications Hide details From: Accepting Applications <[email protected] Subject: Pre-Qualify for a Platinum Visa® in less than a minute Application was accepted. Tried accessing my account to check my application status, it keeps telling me my last name is spelled wrong. So i call the information number and the lady tells me i was accepted and give it a few weeks to arrive. I tried asking why it was telling me my last name was wrong and she says it was spelled correctly in the system. I feel like she cut me short and i am now very concerned especially after seeing these reports.

I opened a credit line with Credit One Bank and realized today that I have been receiving a fraudent charge on my card in various amounts which read: Internet Payment - Thank you Las Vegas, NV. I called into Credit One - and spoke with Lucas and let me know there were fraudulent charges on my account. As I began to look up this particular charge on the internet, I realized there are several people that are having the same issue as me. It is very hard to get to someone to talk to on their automated system and there is no physical address. I also noticed that two of their PO Box addresses are in Las Vegas Nevada. This card has a very high interest rate, but I was rebuilding my credit and thought this would be a good way to do so. I notice that there are also charges for an Experien report that I did not authorize as well.

I think that this company is running a scam in which they are adding charges to credit card holders accounts. I also think they are outsourcing their customer service representatives to other countries making it very difficult to speak with anyone and also trying to explain to them what the issue is and the action that needs to be taken. At this point, my card is reported as lost / stolen.

I advise against anyone opening a Credit One credit card. In investigating their website now, there is no physical address, there are several different numbers in order to get ahold of anyone that may be able to help. There is not an option to cancel your card, or to have any other customer services available to you other than making a payment.

I have paid this credit card company off on january 24 2015. i was on the phone with them in january and told them that is the payoff and i was going to close this account.

i wrote a letter to them and told them i closed this account.

well it turned out i received a statement today march 19, 2015 and was told i owe them money for february through march 2015. an anuall of $8.25 they call it , then they added a late fee in the amount of $24.37, since i did not pay the $8.25 . then they added an additional charge for interest 2015. making it a total amount of $57.15 . that company called me three times a day. since i was curious i called that number back today and come to find out , it was the collection department from that credit one credit card.

i owe nothing to that company. today i was transferred to three different department at this credit card company, not willing to close this account, even after i send a letter.

after trying to be transferring to customer service again, ( i already talked to them ) and more then 45 minutes of conversation with different people i told them do not transfer me anymore.

my firm believe is that this company does not close accounts , so that they can accumilate amounts every month and add late fee's to non existing balances. they do not have an e mail address where a person can send them e mail. the only way a person can comunicate with that company is through mail or telephone.

Credit One Bank is a subprime, fee harvesting bank based in Las Vegas that offers $300 credit limits and then sues its customers for $1,000s. Not only that, but their in-house attorney, who went to the worst rated Law school in Massachussets and co-counsel, a self taught Canadian named Narine Yenovkian, do their best to damage your credit.

This company is ripe for a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. The only issue is that their contract includes an arbitration clause. However, if you choose to arbitrate (search credit one arbitration) and go through JAMS, it will cost them upwards of $100,000 to pursue the claim.

Their CEO, Robert DeJong, fully supports the harassment, defamation and ruin of credit caused by his bank, in his million dollar home in Las Vegas.

The bank makes it nearly impossible to pay them off because of the monthly (annual fee) they continue to charge. The credit limit is so small, it by itself lowers your FICO score (while they advertise falsely that you may receive a $1,000 credit limit).

These hoodwinks are taking advantage of consumers and consumers should fight back. Write a complaint to the CFPB.gov, file arbitration in JAMS, file a ripoffreport, get help from an attorney. These guys are crooks, especially ALLAN SHUTT.

Allan Shutt, the attorney for Credit One Bank, and the bank itself are liars and thiefs.

You will see from their stellar reviews, this company is trash. They are trashing my credit by continuing to report negatively after I paid them off. This was after the jokesters removed it from my credit report, then added it back.

Should you have any complaints, please make a complaint on ripoffreport.com, with the CFPB.gov, the FTC and google search Credit One Bank Arbitration.

This company, held by the largest debt collector in the US, preys on low income earners and then sues them. The should perish, as should the career of its fumbling attorney, Allan Shutt (an in0-house attorney, who cannot practice outside of his s****y bank).

This company is a rip off. They claim any credit repair company that charges an upfront fee is doing so illegal, yet Credit 1 Solutions does the same thing, yet they claim its to set your account up. Hogwash. The company also drags their feet using stall tactics to drain more money out of their clients. They also charge extra in addition to the monthly fee just to send letters to credit collection bureau's. This is not mention before your name is on their contract. The owner Robert rarely returns phone calls and is very rude and makes you feel he is better than his clients who pay his salary. He is also very arrogant and makes snide and threating remarks. I would stay away from this shister. He's probably going to bust Hell wide open on judgement day or it wouldn't surprise me.
