I purchased the website http://free-guaranteed-signups.com/ from Rebecca Curtis at CSE Advertising solutions for $600 USD. I was told as you cas see from the original listing on Flippa that I was told all kinds of great things about this website.
The truth is the site only made 1 or 2 sales in the first month I owned it and each of those got me nothing but grief from the customers that made the purchases. They complained that not a single one of the guaranteed signups was real and that none of them ever even opened the introductory email that was sent to them.
When I complained to CSE about this and told them I wanted my money back for the site, they sent me this response.
Is this your first online business? It takes work, effort, and time to earn a real income online. You can't possibly expect to sit backwhile thousands of dollars flow into your Paypal account without working for it. You have to work hard to earn income online, especially in the marketing/advertising industry. You must promote your site daily to find new business.
It was also mentioned that this year, the site had only been averaging $250 - $300 per month with sales being sporadic.

I was offering to sell the site back at $400 when I had paid $600 for it and they never did buy it back, I guess they know the real worth of the site.
