To Best of the best.....

How do we know Mr. John R. that this is legit when they only have agents in CA.? We're expected to pay a fee for a "List"? How do we know for sure this is not a scam when you really can't meet up with anyone to do business. Are we supposed to believe in ghost landlords or owners? Please explain. I find this too good to be true. If it is true however, I'd definitely like PROOF this works!

Best of the best

Date Capital is the best. Some people just don't know how to look for it or know how to use the website. You find the place by clicking on "search" when you login, click on the state and city ONLY nd leave the rest blank. Once done click submit search. Once you find a place, if you see "0.00" for estimated price, that is 550 a month or lower to owning unless the loan is still high and you see that for some estimted price are priced at 1500-2500$ monthly. Trust me guys, my name is John R. Believe me, don't trust too many people with negatives because they only talk bad but probably don't know how to use the site. Before you complain, please make sure you know how to use the site. I first started out bad but i've got my dream home for only 590 a month. Thank you.

Beware of "Date Capital" who claims to operate out of Petaluma CA. They are running ads on Craigslist Spokane Washington which claim to show houses available for rent to own. They will not provide any addresses. They attempt to gain credit card payment information over the phone. When I spoke to multiple different phone people who claimed to work for Date Capital they were repeatadly unable to direct me to how to find their company on the California State Secretary of State business name search page. Date capital is not registered corporation or company in California.

DATE CAPITAL IS A SCAM. PLEASE PROSECUTE THESE SCUMBAGS.

HERE ARE "DATE CAPITALS" PHONE NUMBERS (which are shown as NY state area codes...)

This is definitely a Ripoff. They are going by several names... DateCapital.com or RKRental.info or First Finacial.

They want you to pay 49.50 for a "List". They wedsites have no names affiliated. Dont fall for it!

Unprecedented Review

Actually here at Date Capital we show you how to take over an existing loan. Since homes can be up to 60% paid off, this means you can find properties for as little as $200 per month! We have means of doing this without credit check and down payment as well. Thank you!

Im Not sure

Honestly i think they are a scam. I cannot say for sure but if they are they are slick as hell. Let me share my experience. I am only doing this because i am in desperate need of a home with low rent. i found out about this on Craigslist. they have two different numbers the 719 then 516 . they also have so called back office numbers that start with 877 etc. So to make sure it wasnt a scam i called a lot of times asking the same questions and one time i got that it cost 99 dollars one time 49...they do often switch up information they have to many domain names...they were so nice to me before i paid my money but after i paid my momney they never answeed the phone i got hung up on at least 20 times i had to be on hold for an hour then never even got to anybody because they hung up.ive never spoken with a manager. the same two people always answer the phone and try to change their voice i spoke with a lady named emma then all of a sudden there is no emma.

If it sounds too good to be true it usually isn't.

They are also using the following number 917-962-0797 and they were very insinting on my giving them my credit card to charge $199 bucks. Thanks God I check on line before I felt for it. The rating should really reflect a -5 star. They are simply stilling money from people by selling them a list which may not be accurate.

They Only Take Your Money

I signed up for $49, and afterwards received no help from them! The list the give access to is what you can get FOR FREE on Zillow or free sites like it. I didn't have an issue with that. I have an issue because they give NO real help with contacting the home owner. They said to try Yellow Pages, & when I said I still needed help since the numbers were no good, I got nothing except their insistence that I try again. Clicking on their site asking for more info did nothing. I NEVER received additional info on contacting owners. They did not come thru on anything they said they would.

scam

They are scams. Back in sept 2014 I had to pay $99. Now its $49? WTF??! Then they gave me a couple of list and out of all the "owners" one actually heard of date capital but he was going to pay it off himself, the rest NEVER heard of this website. i call, email them back they really giving me a hard time refunding my money and they specifically said you can get your money back in 3 months if you don't find a home. somebody, anybody knows how to report a fraud/scam please let me know [email protected]

Protect yourself

I guess you have to give one star. I called, but I didn't sign up. Read what I say carefully. So I tried to ask questions for them to explain how it works. It's simple. They wanted me to pay $199.99. There claim is they provide you listing of places that are in foreclosure. If you find one you like you make an appointment to try to get a walk-through. If you like you are suppose to agree to basically pay first months rent and move in.

I can't say whether it is true because I didn't pay. I did ask if they were registered with the BBB. She said no. While on the phone I checked the BB and I do see complaints with very few resolutions.

She hung up because I guess I was taking to long.

if you decide to do this there is a simple way to protect yourself. If you pay using a credit card, use one which allows you to dispute a charge.within 90 days. That way if you don't get results you can dispute the charge via your credit card company. Most will give you a credit temporarily as they try to investigate and resolve the issue. if the charge is less than $500, many caredit card companies like American Express, will credit you back your lose, providing you aren't disputing charges on a regular basis.

For people who said they didn't get their money back, you never have to lose money if you pay with a credit card. Just first check with your bank. Even call and ask them. Hey I plan to try this program and I am afraid I may lose my money, how do you protect my money in the event it doesn't work out.

Also, don't use a debit card. Because then you lose cash and banks in most cases may not credit you back cash. Crediting you back a credit charge is different because you never spent any real money.

If it sounds to good to be true it usually is. Once you see a property you are interested in, go to your county off or state off that store these records and the confirm the location is indeed in foreclosure. This should be your first move should you decide to try. That info is public record and contains the owners contact information. If you can reach them in a reasonable amount of time like a couple days, move on to something else. Don't get so stuck on one you like. Remember you still have a full 90 days to dispute a credit card charge. Use that to your advantage.

If you use a credit card you cant lose any money because credit cards aren't money. It is a line of credit that you spend like money and you pay it back. If you spend actually money on a service, your chances of getting it back is small.

By writing this, even though i feel i have already lost my money i am forfeiting my refund; however according to date capital i have already lost it. When i signed up for the services i was on the phone with a representative and going over the various questions i had about the site, services and so on. I even asked about refunding my investment if i was unhappy with the services or found that i could not use them any longer. As it turns out there were a number of things that occurred beyond my control and i had no choice but to remain in the home i currently reside in and have lived in for over ten years, two hip surgeries and a planned move to puerto rico that went bust and was the reason i signed on to date capital in the first place. After asking numerous questions to the representative and feeling satisfied that i had a good understanding i agreed to sign on to date capital for the possibility of finding a home. July came and my partner who is in puerto rico and i decided it would be best to part ways and i still had one surgery scheduled for the beginning of august so i had no other recourse but to stay put in my current home. I called date capital and asked that my account be closed and discontinued but was told that i had to wait until october 29, 2015 when my six month initial service period ended and at that time if i was not in a home at that time i would be eligible for a full refund. I am now being told that unless i can provide them with five home owner denial letters that no matter what i do i cannot get my money back. During previous conversations prior to july and during the conversation with the representative when i wanted my services cancelled i was informed that i would get my money back. I also asked them why i had to wait and expressed very adamantly my displeasure with not only how i was being treated but with their tactics in giving people the run around. I have since read the terms they provide and pretty much everything in it absolves them of any liability to give people their money back. I cannot provide five home owners names because i didn't use the service and even explained why i no longer needed it. I am out two hundred dollars and see no recourse on how to get it back. Also, according to their terms even a complaint, bringing a third party, i.E. A lawyer or any other person who might try to retrieve my money absolves them of having to refund it. I have written a number of scathing emails to them expressing my dissatisfaction with the services they provide and how they treat people to no avail and getting anywhere with them. I even mentioned to a representative a house i was interested in that should not be listed because when i did contact the owner listed the father of the gentleman named said that his son did not even own the house and that the uncle of his ex wife did and could not understand himself why the house was listed. The house is still listed on the site not to mention that every other house i may have been interested in was then listed on the site as foreclosed. Is there anyone investigating this company and what is being done about them? It seems to me that this is a the very least shady and a giant scam. I would appreciate, if anyone can, a reply from someone.

This company promised to give me a listing of preforclosure properties in my area. they charged me $200 and I was assured taht i would have an agent that would help me through the process. Instead there were 5 lousy training videos, a bad website, poor serach results that had bad addresses that didnt show up in a google search, no listing of # of bedrooms for any properties in my search area. I contacted them by phone and they suggested I email and that they would send me a list taylor made for me. Instead I got an email saying that the listings were refreshed and that I shoudl search again. I did and got the same problems, useless listings. their hours make it next to impossible to get in touch with. Steer clear.
