I would first like to start by saying that I dont like taking action like this against other people but if they dont care about themselves why should I . I will update this report if they make it right.
I signed up for this dealer match program as I was under the assumption that you could buy cars at wholesale prices and not have to pay auction fee's ,only the monthly $400 subscription.Once i PAYED and began trying to buy a couple cars it became evident that something just wasnt right.They list cars with RETAIL prices on them and your supposed to make offers on them and ultimately haggle to make a deal , fine. After seeing a few cars I liked placed a few bids approx 3 if I remember and they got turned down , so I started calling back those that got turned down ,first bonham chrysler said that was there price of $8k for the car, I said thats a retail price whats the dealer wholsale price , he didnt even know what I was talking about..Next made offer to sport city in dallas on a 09 accent for $3125 mmr value ,turned down ,called them they wanted retail price which was listed at $5998.Next dallas roadster on a 07 kia optima I just called them they were asking $8950 he was the only guy who said he would come down on the price to $8000, come on thats ridiculous, where is the wholesale prices ? Next was Huffines kia in denton texas on a 09 accent , called them direct and theuy wanted what was listed $9000 wouldnt come down , 2 days later it was at $7991 , this is BS .Next Crest infiniti in dallas on a 07 toyota corolla , offered them $6000 for it theu said they already sold it ,the next day they had it listed for $5749 , can you see where this is going ? I then called my rep james deckard , now I payed on 5-27-14 I used it on that day up to that saturday 4 days , and already could see that either its a scam or something.Anyways james deckard and bill ware came out to my place of business on wednesday the next day 5-28-14 because and they explained everything ," like I always say if its to good to be true it usually is" .So I called james on saturday5-31-14 but didnt answer , he texted me back and said he was at the hospital with his dad , for hios sake I hope he wasnt lying.James called on monday 6-2-14 left a message and I called him back and we talked and I said I wanted a refund because you misrepresented the program and there is NO WHOLESALE CARS AND MOST OF THE INVENTORY ON THERE IS AUTOMATICALLY UPLOADED FROM AUTOTRADER AND MOST DEALERS DONT EVEN KNOW THERE CARS ARE ON THERE AND MOST DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT DEALERMATCH WAS.He tryed to get me to keep using it but I flat out refused and was very upset and pissed to be honset.James said he would refund the money the next day on 6-3-14 and didnt.I text him on 6-4-14 and asked if he was going to proceed with the refund today .He said he was on a 3hr traing andwas trying to get me again to log on and try to buy cars but didnt .I can prove everything as everything has been done over email or texts.My deal seems to vary from other peoples but I was promised a $150 visa gift card which I never got either.On june 23rd now 3 weeks later I am still getting the run around from james decakard and dealermatch . I texted him again on june 23rd and said I guess you were lying about the refund and gift card.His response was , I DONT LIE TO MY DEALERS.I had already called my credit card company and disputed the charge as it was a lie and misrepresented what they are selling ,DONT BUY INTO THE BS !!! After the cc company investigated looked into it they said they couldnt do anything because of the way it was charged.I told him on the 5-23-14 of the reversal and he said he would get it taken care of , and I said ok. June 26th now texted him , any update ? Said he was waiting on accounting ,claimed they just switched billing and its slow now ,WOULDNT YOU THINK IT WOULD BE BETTER ? Told him i would be taking further action if I dont get a refund like you promised by tomorrow 5-29-2014 , and I will file a complaint with the FTC and Possibly start a class action lawsuit because I am sure there are others who have been scammed also. He texted me back again and said he couldnt control how fast they go in accounting.He said by law I have to send in proof that my claim was rejected otherwise they cant refund anything ,WHY DIDNT HE SAY THIS ALONG TO AGO ? They got the letter on july 1st and now the excuse is there is to many people in accounting that dont know what they are doing.It is now july the 5th and still NO REFUND , Not even the gift card I was supposed to get.
What you need to know is this place is crooked and everything they say is a lie , its very very hard to believe that this is part of the manheim corporate " cox communications" company.
