Leaves a message on my answering machine saying for everyone to hear that there is a pending Civil action case against me. I called the clerk of the circuit court and there is no civil action against me that this company is just a collecting agency. They want you to think there a legal firm. Just report them and change your number. There a fraud that is just trying to collect a old debt.

I received a call from Claudia who said she had a warrant for me and was surprised I didn't know anything about it. The number she called from was 816-331-2798 which is the Belton Circuit Court in Belton, MO. She gave me a number to call and a case number because she said that she didn't know what it was about. She wondered if I wanted it delivered by 1st class mail or hand delivered to my work. I am retired and haven't worked since 2011.

I placed the call to the number provided, 1-844-644-0106. It was immediately answered as Law Office. I asked for her name and she said it was Lisa Brown, she did not give me the Law Office name. I gave her my case number and she proceeded to tell me that if I didn't pay by today that there wouuld be a warrant for my arrest. I told her that I knew nothing of the debit and asked whom it was with. She said the debit was for CashNet in the amount of $2500 and that the company would settle for $1,137.10. When I told her that I needed to look into this, she said that it was a time sensitive manner and that if I could pay by today, she would knock the price down to $937.10.

She told me she had no reason to lie to me and that I really needed to pay this with my bank card. I told her that I didn't have that type of money lying around and that I would like more information. She said she would have her secretary email me a document within 2 hours. While I waited, I searched for CashNet and the only listing on the internet was CashNetUSA which I called. I inquired if I owed them any money and they informed me that I had a loan in 2007 for $500 and it was paid in full. They also advised me that there is no other company using the CashNetUSA name or logo.

Within 2 1/2 hours Lisa Brown called me and said you should have received the email, I have a copy of it just now. I came in and opened the attachment which is from Delray Capital, L.L.C. in Boca Raton, FL, but was issued by Solomon & Blake. I once again asked her for more information and she said all I need was what was on that page. I told her I wanted to do more research and she said to call CashNet and give them my information and they would refer me directly to her number.

Upon hanging up, I called the bank listed on the letter and inquired about the account number - not only did I never have an account with that number; those numbers are not used by this banking institution. In addition, I looked into the FBI listings and saw that CashNet scams were listed on their website and also my state attorneys.

She called me back again withing 30 minutes and said she was ready to process my payment. I told her that I have done some searching and that the bank number was invalid, that I didn not owe CashNetUSA any funds, and that I was going to report them to the FBI. Her response was, "That's fine Mrs. Norman, you better get an attorney!"

I am now filling out a complaint form with the ICF (Internet Crime Complaint Center)at www.IC3.gov, the FBI, my local county, and this site.

Delray Capital United Mediation Group

I received a call today from a No Caller ID number the man on the other end told me that I was being sued and would be SERVED Notice within the next few days for FRAUD on a PayDay Loan. Somehow this low life Company was able to gather enough of my personal information to get my attention. I never had a PayDay Loan or defaulted on the Loan as they claimed. I was provide a Docket number which when researched did not even match the Docket Number format of the County Court they were claiming that I was being brought up on charges of Fraud. When I asked for the Supervisor's Name of the Caller I stumped him momentarily until he gave me a name and number. I called the number and a lady answered to tell me that they go under many different names. A legitimate Company is not going to hide in the shadows under multiple names and use pressure tactics to collect the small debt these vultures were claiming that I owed. Unfortunately there are people that would be scared enough to hand over payment to these scumbags. I pulled my Bank Statements and low and behold the deposit and charges that were claimed never existed. I informed them that I was onto their PayDay scam and told them that if they had legitimate business to serve me at home since they had my address. That stirred the pot enough to have them tell me how they were going to contact my Employer and would I like to make a Statement for the Record. I informed the Caller that I would and I told him to Kiss My Ass and Go F Himself! Do not give into these unscrupulous Predators, fight back and report them. By no means give them any Banking or Payment information. That is the part that they don't have but want.

I was contacted by a man who left a voicemail stating he was calling from the local circuit court in my county, late in the evening stating that if I did not contact an arbitrator (whose phone number was the only one left w/o the company's name) that a summons would be issued and I would receive the summons at home or at work the next day or following morning if I they do not hear back from me. They threatened saying that the charge was check fraud. I know I haven't committed such a crime so I called back. The lady said they were the middle people before the case goes to court and that if I went the amount would be double the amount which was originally owed.

She could not give me specifics on the original amount and when I asked about the company, she said it was Highland and they went by other names that I did not recognize either. She claimed it was a payday loan and they were getting the payment on their behalf. She gave me options for repayment, then transferred me to another person to take the payment. Feeling that it was sketchy, I spoke with the lady again also explaining I saw other ppl stating they'd been ripped off in similar ways. She then sent me a poorly written email which basically stated at the end that by law they must disclose they are dept collectors.

They are trying to deceive ppl making them think they are speaking with lawyers and that charges will come of bad debt. Also, when I called back I spoke with a short tempered guy calling himself Anthony Russo who could not tell me the name of the company my debt supposedly came from when I told him I researched and didn't find that name on my credit report or ever on my bank statements. I told him I wasn't able to find a phone number for the company, and that if I could have it to confirm with them in detail first. He then claimed that they weren't recovering on the companys behalf bc one may have gone out of business, but that they bought the debt and will pursue legal action. I'm contacting my local courts to follow up on the apparent docket #.

They constantly flip flopped and their email was a basic template sent from a gmail acct with the address portion partially cropped out as I'd they were trying to be sneaky and conceal their address. The girl on the phone stated they were in Albany, ny but the emails states they are in buffalo as per the address and fax #. Please research and follow up with your local courts before giving them any info. They seem to have had enough of my personal info to sound convincing, but the rest of it didn't make sense. The guy was very pushy and you could tell that once he was caught up in his own lie that he got frustrated and tried to rugs me off the phone when I confronted him for more info. Please be careful!

Scam

I've gotten several calls from Delray Capitol. It's in regards to an old payday loan. The payday loan company name they gave me was Sagamore. My first call was from an Ashley who stated, after I requested documentation, she would email me the info. By law, I'm entitled to a mailed copy. I requested this because I did not recognize the name. I had some payday loans that I paid through a debt service a few years ago and also through my pre-paid legal service. Anyway, 3 weeks later, no ema or mail from Ashley. I got 2 other calls last week from Matt. I called back. He again stated the loan was from Sagamore. In the meantime, I had found my bankruptcy paperwork from 2008 and Sagamore was a loan that was discharged. Once I stated this, he put me on hold. Ruth, a supervisor came on and now stated, Sagamore was an Umbrella Co and it was a loan from 2012 which I made 5 months of payments on. Great, I said, provide me the documentation so I can match the totals. If this company is not licensed in Florida, I already paid more then enough to repay the loan. If a company I not licensed in Fla, legally, I only owed the original loan amount plus 10% and in fact, this company may owe me money because my other loans were settled. She had no response other then I was talking over her, not listening and she was going to hangup. I said bye, not again before asking for documentation in this so called debt. I've been scammed before..
