There were certain promises and a misrepresentations of information and training that would be provided at the Formal Training Seminar that were NOT given, in addition if I would have known that the 'REAL Training was an additional cost of $20,000 to $30,000' I would NOT have agreed to pay $1997 for this seminar and $997 for tax lien. – This was presented as a Learning Exercise we were to call one of our credit card companies and ask for a credit increase, but it was used by the Seminar to discover your financial worth, how many credits cards, 401K accounts and IRA accounts that you had so that they could discover if you could pay for their Advanced Training which was offered at three levels, which is ($20,000), ($25,000), or ($30,000). The entire training seminar was based on the fact that you actually needed the extra training to succeed. This so call training was " Boots on the Ground " which teaches the method of using no money down (because they took all of our money?). They said with their method that we would start getting deals at 25 offers to 1 deal. Then there was the great Deno Fabrizio. Awesome speaker, but when questioned, always reverted to consumer or broke thinking instead of giving facts. When they started the seminar, they concentrated of integrity. "The truth will set you free. It may tick you off at first." Well they must all be in prison and they aren't ticked off at all. They all lied the whole weekend. Oh I almost forgot they don't want you speaking to other people in the seminar with you the are just "gunea worms" that would spread negative words or ideas around. This so-called Summit in Las Vegas that happens every month, looks like a bunch of extras doing an infomercial.I do believe there are great opportunities in real estate, but it is not with this group. There are a couple of them that are apart of his SCAM mentor team that were present. This is being disputed because Visionary Events did not provide the services that they said they would and do not want to refund the money like they said they would verbally and in the contract that I have for your review. I have spoken with others that attended a 3 day Boots On The Ground Training and they too are disputing charges.
The 3-day Boots On The Ground training, was very unprofessional done and so was the trainer Greg Murphy, being an Educator/Trainer I know firsthand how training is to be conducted and this was WORST than HORRIBLE!!. This 3day event was to provide key elements needed to be successful in becoming a Real Estate Investor. The dates were August 25 – 27, 2016 from 9am -4 pm.
The presenter Greg Murphy was s very unprofessional, instead of handing or placing the workbooks in mine and my mother’s hands he threw the books at us, that is not professional and highly insulting, this is not how a professional training is to be conducted, as other learners came in he said I get some books up here if yall want them. Greg kept talking about how small the class was and how much we all paid to be there, he never called any of us by our names!!. We were to learn step by step about Wholesaling we learned nothing don’t know what steps are to be taken and how to make an offer or deal, he gave us homework that was not really beneficial to help in making offers.
The next day we had in house work to do on our lap top computers, as well as homework, I could not complete the assignments because I didn’t have all the apps and drop downs needed. It was oginally explained that we would be making deals, and will know how to make offers and bids we as a class went to (3) houses and none of us got any training on how to make an offer and get a deal, this was explained over and over that this is what Boots On The Ground would do another disappointment, when I asked Greg what was wholesaling he told me that every deal was going to be a wholesale, that can’t be true because they had so many other areas of being a Real Estate Investor that you can do to make money. The last day of the class was just as bad as the other two days this time some girl Named Michelle who had attended another class at another time came in and Greg always called her by her name, but never called anybody else in the class by their names. The class ended early because Greg said he had to get back because he has a dying brother in law to take care of, if that was the case then another trainer should have been put in place so that we could get the training that we all paid for, the DEAL DESK is out dated and needs to be updated for today’s times how can you make a deal with old dated comp reports and listing information this is crucial in the business to get the accurate numbers. We got no training on how to use the DEAL DESK, I did not learn anything in this training and it was truly a waste of hard earned money. Seeing that the company is only open Monday – Friday not CST 9-5 pm my mother/ partner Darlene Henderson began calling that Monday morning, 8-29-2016.
They have been very unprofessional regarding this whole thing , I called 9-8-16 and left a message after all the unprofessional treatment that my mother received and 9-9-2016 I received a voice message from Tyler when I called to speak with her Jade answewd and would not let me speak with Tyler and said that Rand was my contact instead of letting me speak with Rand she put me on hold and relayed a message as to what Rand said, this was not Jade’s place her place was to transfer me lie I asked her to do. I told Jade that I wanted to speak with him myself not have a message relayed Jade hung the phone up in my ear at 10:51 am CST. I was very upset and called back to speak with Jade’s manager I left a voice mail for Shanna Walton at 10:54 am CST and have yet to hear back from her. I sent a text to Jay Evans he is supposed to be able to help me through this process, I texted that I’ve not been able to get any help and he has yet to respond back. Visionary Events is not professional and have unprofessional people working at the company they have not provide the training they promised, help us get any deals like they promised and I we want a full refund and I have the contract to back this up.
