DHcameras Reviews

My camera had an aperture controller failure. I was able to take picture but after each picture I needed to reboot the device. I went to a local camera repair shop who esitamted the amount of the repair to be around $400. I shopped around and found on ebay.com that rongyuanxie (ebay reseller of DHCameras.com) proposed the exact same repair for half the price. I decided to send them my camera. They took an extremly long time to process my repair. I even though that they lost my camera. After a while they contacted me back saying that my camera has more issue and that the main PCB board (the most expensive part of the camera after the sensor I guess) as well as the motor board (or something like that) needed to be replaced. They asked around $500 more for the extra work. I was furious as I knew the camera has only an aperture controller issue.

I asked to send my camera back as well as the aperture controller with no other repair. I received the camera back and now my camera doesn't even boot. I went again to my local camera repair shop and they told me that the camera is ruined. They don't even know what is going wrong with the camera. I contacted Ebay but as 90 days passed between the time I sent the camera to DHcameras (because DHcameras took so long to process my request or even lost my camera) and the time I received it back, Ebay told me that I was out of luck. The bottom line is that I paid 285$ for a repair that not only didnlt fixed my camera but ruined it and I'm with a $2000 camera which doesn't work and no one to file a report to. Don't be seduced by the lower price of DHCameras for repair or parts. They just try to pir you off. If you like your camera use someone else.
