I have never had such an AWFUL online experience after over two decades on the internet with any other company whether international or domestic.

Do yourself a favor and RUN from DHGate. They will not protect you if something goes wrong between you and the seller, but will only waste your time and act as if they are assisting. I have been waiting on my refund after I have provided PROOF OF DELIVERY that items have been returned to seller, for months.

I am now out $1697.90, have no products to show for it, and my credit card company, Chase Bank decided they did not want to fight this company for whatever the reason and left me holding the bag. This has been the worst online experience I have ever had.

I have posted reviews on TrustPilot and SiteJabber to warn other about this company. Interestingly enough, whenever I post a negative review online to warn other people about DHgate,com, someone named Honey (I believe someone who monitors their internet online reputation) will write a reply to my review and state they are willing to assist and when I try to contact this person regarding my case, she is nowhere to be found. Instead, I get the same inept reps who don't know one end from the other and the EXACT same run around.

I will continue to tell others about my experience anywhere I can and my next step is legal pursuit because I have had it with their lies.

In conclusion, there are other sites that are reputable and that will protect you if something does not work out between you and the seller. This is not the one.

It is not surprising that DHgate has many sellers that sell fraudulent products. Every site like

them does. The difference is that DHgate claims to offer a level of protection. The

problem is when you receive a fraudulent item they will do nothing in your behalf. I have

two orders that I have used the return and refund feature with. I have written here about

one of them, The other which is not completed yet has been going on for 7 weeks. I

refuse to accept the second order of a product because I had ordered it before I was

finished selling the first. After I made the order I had 40 people that I had sold to asking for

refunds because the product did not work. It turns out that the sellers product which

claimed to have 128GB of memory only had 8. After I refused deliver it was on hold in

Seattle with DHL. DHL told me that the seller needed to call before they would return the

item. I contact the seller several times and he did nothing. I contacted DHgate and they

said they would contact the seller. I did this several times over two weeks. Each time

being told they would contact the seller. They never once contacted the seller. Finally

after 3 weeks of contacting the seller my self he called DHL. Then when the seller

received and signed for the package he refused to mark the package with DHgate as

received. Again I ask DHgate to intervene. I sent the the proof that the package had

been received. Again they told me they would contact the seller. Again they never did.

Finally after two weeks of contact the seller myself, he marked the package as received.

Now days later and multiple contacts with DHgate they will not close the case. I

contacted them yesterday and told them I would spread the word again if they did not

close the dispute by today. Of course they did nothing.

DHgate represents manufacturers in China. Represents the products with guarantee of product and with a refund policy with full shipping refund. What they do not do is make it easy. They have long dispute times, months, and you must always respond in days. They put you in direct contact with the seller, whom speaks virtually no english. Offering minimal discount hopeful you will go away. Then request you pay to ship the package back at your expense till they, get approval from the seller to reimburse you back. So be ready to get the double wammy if you try to save by ordering from this company.

So here is my story. Looking for a new fairing for a motorcycle, nice new paint job for the entire motorcycle, front, sides, back. Well $400.00 later I got it in a box. Beautiful it was till I started putting all the pieces on the bike. Nothing Fit ! I took pictures of old and new in comparison, submitted a dispute and started down a long nightmare with DHgate.

Sure I proved there is a problem, I did as they said. Told to package it back up and ship it back to China. Just try to guess how much? And I am not guarenteed to be repaid, haven't yet. Out my money twice.

So if you are going to buy from Mainland China, get it at Walmart or else plan on getting bent over! Oh the bike, well I am taking the old fairing and repainting it. Ill order decals and it will look as good as the Chinese knockoff for the same price.

Last, don't expect your credit card company to protect you from these middlemen. DHgate knows you cannot touch them with a 10 foot pole, even if you can see them from your front porch.

Seller advertises on DHGATE, ALIXPRESS, MADE IN CHINA, HKDC. Prices seem very good. You make and equiry they will send you an invoice and ask for payment by T/T or WU. In my case I opted to pay through DHGATE platform for buyer protection offered. The Seller demanded payment by T/T or WU and sent invoice. I refused and stated they advertised on payment which offered payment through platform. seller did not process the order.

They usually send you the following invoices and will als use hotmail or outtlok accounts.

Ordered 5 x Garrett Pro Pointers from a user of DHGate only to later (about 1 hour) that

they can't be cheaper from China as they are actually made in the USA (derp.)

So I cancelled the order while not shipped and in escrow.

DH gate says 2 days for a refund on a debit card.

2 days ago.

Now they say upto 15 days due to my bank.

But I dont have a bank as its actually a paypal mastercard so its pretty instant.

They are stalling and lying.

Their customer service chat window is a bot. I recommend asking stupid questions as you'll

get no more or less sense than asking legit ones and its modertly humerous.

I've lodged a compaint with paypal as i can't phone their card fraud line due to a premium rate number

being barred for my provider. But thats a seperate complaint...

Avoid DHGate and all their scammer retail/whoelsalers.

Most of the stuff is cheaper on eBay as a 1-of item anyway.

In mid to late 2013 I purchased an in dash audio/navigation system from DHgate. Paid for the unit and shipping. After receiving the unit, I had it installed. The technitian could not get the internal battery to charge so every time I started the car the system would have to hunt for a satelite signal. Also, the time indication in the auto mode was not my time zone but someplace quite far away as the time was 13 or 24 hours off. Also the CD player would not load any CDs therefore did not work.

I contacted DHgate about the problems and they forwarded my complaint to the maker "egomall" (this is all I know about this entity as all communications went through this "egomall" on line). I did as was instructed and contacted egomall. They wanted evidence that the unit did not work which I sent them. This over a period of two to three months. They finally said to send the unit back and they would replace it.

On 1/22/2014 I sent the unitback to egomall as instructed. I waited a month with no word. I contacted egomall again and asked what was happening. They asked me to send proof of shipping the unit which I did. Then they said they finally located the unit and would repair it. (Not send me a replacement as previously stated.)

After more back and forth with egomall, they said they tested it three times and nothing was wrong. They sent the asme unit back on 3/37/2014. I paid to have it installed again. And again I had the same problems with the unit. It would not charge the internal battery. The navi system had to hunt for a setelite signal every time I started the car. The auto time was a completely wrong time zone. The CDs would not load. The remote control did not work. I contacted egomall again saying they did not fix the unit. They said there was nothing wrong with it and they tested it three times.

I then sent them evidence that it had the same problems. And during this time, the touchscreen stopped working. I sent them evidence of this as well. Egomall said to send the unit back to them for a replacement. I asked them to send the postage for this. No reply.

I then contacted DHgate "Customer Service" and have been in contact with them since the end of April. They finally said they could not help me that I had to deal with egomall. Egomall says to send the unit back for repair that they will not replace it. They do not send postage and do not answer my requests for this.

I spent $177.28 for the unit. $68.95 for original shipping. $65.55 to send it back to them. And about $98.00 to have the unit installed and uninstalled. I aasked them for a refund of $311.78 as well as postage for sending the defective back to them if they wanted it.

No reply to this from egomall. I am stuck with a unit that does not work at all (cannot even get radio stations) as the touchscreen is shot. DHgate won't help. Egomall won't respond.

As far as I am concerned, DHgate is a company that should be put on a blacklist so that no one else geets ripped off. And do not let "egomall" off the hook either. They refuse to stand behind their products and do not know how to properly fix them.

THIS COMPANY STOLE MY MONEY. I HAVE LOST A TOTAL OF $2000 USD with this company. I ordered a large amount of hair from this company. After one single wash, the hair began tangling and matting. I reached out to the seller , ZHANG JIAN, about the issue i was having. He PROMISED me that I would receive a FULL REFUND if i sent the hair back to him. I paid $165.00 in shipping to send back the hair to China. ZHANG JIAN SIGNED FOR THE FEDEX PACKAGE, but NEVER ISSUED ME A REFUND FOR MY MONEY. I have been REPEATEDLY emailing SINDER HAIR COMPANY, ZHANG JIAN, and their sales rep LILY for the past month, however they have seem to drop off the face of the planet. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT CROOKS AND THE HAIR IS NOT REMY AND DEFINITELY NOT 7A. It was shedding like crazy before I even attempted to install it.
