I am an Avon Rep. One day, while working on my Avon website, I got a popup for a survey, with a product offered for the cost of S&H only. Thinking this was something Avon was doing, I signed up to try a dietary supplement. I did not see the name of the company, nor did I see any Terms of Service. I received the product, then later I found an $89.95 debit on my debit card. I called to dispute the charge, but they wont talk to me, saying I gave them the incorrect email address. I gave them every email address I have. I dont know what to do.
Advertisement promoted by Dr. Oz, prresented a FREE trial of a weight loss supplement. Did not specify terms and conditions directly in ad. Seperate area to click on stated must call within 14 days to cancel and keep or they will charge you full price + start shipping supplement on a monthly basis while charging your credit card in advance. Legally they have a case BUT it's still a SCAM because it's not made clear when you visit a reputable site like Home Depot and they claim that Home Depot is giving you the FREE item (choice). I've been rripped off for a total of about 180 dollars as of July 18. Their customer service says it would cost an additional $45 S&H + 30% restocking fee, 2 phone calls to get a RMA # and 2 weeks untill only the returned bottle is refunded. Sorry, RipOffee, you can't return the opened 1st bottle you thought was free.
