On October 22, 2014 I got an "Acceptance Letter" and a check in the mail for $1,995.55 from Direct Services Company out of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey in an envelope without a return address and a stamp from Madrid, Spain. The letter gave instructions for me to deposit the check into my checking account minus my "Participation Pay" for the first week of $350.00. I was instructed to log in to the "Official looking" members only website at www.directservicesco.com with my furnished username and password. Then activate the check which I'm assuming would be invalid or a "Bad Check" and I would be left with a scam that gave them my signature, my back account number, a password and some other forms of personal information.

The letter indicated that I would be allowed to shop on the remainder of $1,645.55 (leftover after my pay) and to shop at retail stores such as Walmart, Costco, Best Buy, The Office Depot, The Home Depot, Sears and other mega stores. I was instructed to scan my receipts and email them to the web site provided within 24 hours of purchasing items or be disqualified from the program. I was lead to believe that I get to keep what I buy and only to report my experience in a timely manner.

Great! Now they have my bank card number too! Along with more signatures of my family members if not using my own card!

Not me, and hopefully not you. I have friends in the FBI that will begin investigating this company or scam artists and hopefully prosecute them. please don't be a victim!

BTW, in my letter they misspelled several words, used poor grammar and punctuation. This is a good indicator it may be a scam. Pay attention to grammar and punctuation.

IS THIS REALLY A SCAM

I also received a letter and check for the amount of 1,995.55, I did enter the cods to activate the check,. but I did not deposit it into my account. I just felt like it was to good to be true,. so I kept it and I still have it. So what to do with it now .I'm glad that I didn't deposit it. Thanks for the information and for being conformation on my feelings about this
