THIS IS AN UPDATE TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT FILED IN 2008. WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR MONEY OF 19,500 DOLLARS. WHAT WE ARE NOT DOING:

THE OWNER OF THIS SCAM IS ELI GARCIA AND HE ANSWERS THE PHONE BY SAYING, ACCOUNTING. HERE IS WHAT WE ARE DOING NOW: He also has a site called Tell A Friend King

Filing a complaint with the Attorney General of California

Contacting the FBI advising them that this guy is running a scam out of his apartment along with his wife

Contacting the IRS to have this place fully audited and investigated for tax fraud.

We are contacting the Bar Association of California to file a detailed complaint against the attorney's and firm noted in this complaint. We believe they are protecting this guy and are somehow involved in this scam. They claim they are billing his for their services but admit to a firendship. I want them investigated as well and want proof of what they are actually billing him for and the acutural payments he maid to them.

We just sent Eli who answered the phone a message requesting our 19,500 back and encouraged him to contact us. We will not stop until we get our money or shut these businesses down. We can be contacted at [email protected]

Prior report filed in 2008

This is a brief of the Scam conducted by Eli Garcia:

We contracted with Eli Garcia of 3701 Glendon Avenue, Apt 9, Los Angeles Ca 90034-6251. He creatively outline the scope of the project. Looking closly now, we can see this was taken from a professional firm or directly from a book. We sent two checks via mail written directly to Eli Garcia. One check dated June 10, 05 for 10,850 to represent 40% down on the project to start work. A second check was sent dated July 20, 2005 in the amount of 8,200 representing paymnet number two. There was also a 250 initial deposit deducted from project fees. The project would cost in total 27,500. We never received anything from this project and paid out more than 19,250.

After confronting this situation with many emails and conversations, Eli finally agreed to refund 14,000 he says to cover his research. He advised refunding the entire amont would bankrupt him, although he could get a credit line to pay us back. He acknowledged the scope of this project was larger than he could handle or his experience extened. We advsied we hired a new web service who would evalutate his work and pay him fairly. He sent a lenghty email advising he would coopreate with this evalutation and send materials for this purpose. This took several weeks and he advised it would be impossible for his work to be evaluated. We realized this was true, because you cannot evalute work that does not exist.

Eli hired the firm of Meyers and O'Hara located at 17401 Ventura Blvd. Suite B21, Encino, CA 91316, specifically Milena O'Harra, Esq. He advised she was a family friend and she had a specific interest in this case as she too had a financial interest in the website site. We are now under the impression he and this firm are together working to fraud innocent people like us. Miss O'Hara sent us a letter releasing their client of the project and refund us the monies we had not paid in the contract, 8,250. What a Joke!

We have contact the DA office of Los Angeles and been told this is a small civial case and had no interest even if there is criminal intent. We also spoke with Detective Wilbur of the LA county police and he advised he contacted this person and all checked out. This was a lie! He saw us as another person not large enough for his career. We filed a local police report and had two attorneys review this case. One from Philadelphia and the other from LA. The Phila attorney advised us to knock on this door and call the police, have them arrive and have Eli explain why he did not refund our money. The LA attorney advised she would be taking good money after bad and did not want to hurt our financials anymore than they already have been. The La attorney, Illece Buckly Weber, phone number 310-444-3201 was Amazing and I would highly suggest if you have a large issue to contact her. She is A plus.

Eli has since started a website called Tell-A-Friend-King with the money we gave him. This is another scam and we have reported this scan to the FBI criminal web complaints division. We are going to pursue this to the end.

If you are an attorney or work for the Media and would like to help this situation, please contact us John Columbo or Susan Adams at 215-923-7399. We are confident this person has scammed many individuals and we cannot get help to resolve this. If you can provide additional help, please let us know.
