Dombach Trail Project Management Reviews

  • May 12, 2014

On May 10, 2014 I was on my way home from Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs. My mother had needed emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage and was in the hospital's ICU. I was traveling southbound on 21st Street, approaching Broadway. I was in the turn lane, slowing down in preparation for the turn, when a truck barreled down on my vehicle. It came so close, so fast, that I thought it was going to hit my vehicle. I honked to get his attention and made my west turn onto Broadway. The truck followed, with probably an inch between my vehicle and his. It felt as if I was being menaced and bullied by the driver for no other reason than I was on the road and he wasn't willing to share it. I am former law enforcement, and the advice from state patrol is that when you encounter an aggressive driver, you pull over and let them pass. I pulled over as far as I could, but there was an event going on and the street was full of vehicles and pedestrians. He honked at me, pulled alongside my vehicle, and rolled down his window. I rolled down mine and read the markings on his truck. I said, "Domback Trail Project Management? I'm reporting you to your owner." When I said that, he sped off. I continued west on Broadway, and he turned onto Arch street, going south. At that point, I continued west on Broadway. I attempted to dial the number on the truck, but the call was blocked. When I got home, I googled the company, but all it said was that it's a small, locally owned business. Linked In had the business listed, along with a photo of the owner. His name was Dave Bombach, and it was the same man using his vehicle as bulldozer. I have seen a lot of bad drivers. He is right up there on my list. His anger was over-the-top and unprovoked. I would not recommend doing business with a man who operates a chainsaw and has serious anger-management issues.
